I've seen a sign ...
.. that Jesus lives ! Whilst cutting ones of the trees in my garden today I noticed that an enterprising (and probably God fearing) catapiller had chewed away at this shape. Should I put it on eBay ?

boost leek detector
To be honest if you have a bost leak it's it's gonna be hard work with a foot pump, let alone a bike pump. I did have a few leaks and I could sustain virtually no pressure and that was with the compressor !

ooo, shiny bits..
Does it make it go faster ? No ? .....

How old is it
OK, so you have your answer then.

How old is it
If you send me a photo of the VIN plate I can check on the FAST CD and verify the actual month of manufacture.

My new brakes don't fit !
They certainly look the same as R34 or even 350Z but I hadn't actually lined them up side by side. Now if I could space out the disc a little .... somehow doesn't seem like a good idea. Can you buy discs with different offsets ? Will have to look in the Brembo catalogue or similar .... A least I got a lot of house painting done whilst I was thinking about it.

My new brakes don't fit !
Somewhat depressed ! The offset of either the calipers or the discs is wrong and it's also the 'wrong' way too. ie it can't be fixed by spacers it's a machining the calipers, the carrier or a different disc offset .... Bummer ....

Custom Alloy Brake Brace ...
Negative, what's negative about that ? Statement of fact, it doesn't improve the braking, but it may change the feel slightly.

Go Faster Stripes???
Le Mans doesn't cost that much, it's the train/ferry, plus 700 miles worth of fuel and a weekend ticket. It probably only cost me £300 max when sharing the fuel costs and we went on Eurostar. Plus you have until next June to save up. Stop buying those silly plastic wings etc and you'll have no problem ! :D

Go Faster Stripes???
Just watching. it's a riot - you should go. The stripes would be kinda retro, like the old GT40's and the Z is a similar shape.

Go Faster Stripes???
Ooeerr, I was gonna get stripes like that for Le Mans next year ! Would look class on a blue car !

how do you get the wheel studs out?
Knocking them in shouldn't be that hard. Just get 'em some of the way in then then use washers or even the wheel and just do the nut up to pull 'em the rest of the way.

Hola all
If you're who I think you are, then you know a friend of mine called Simon, who used to have an MR2t and now has an RX-7. If that's the case then I know your RX-7 was no ordinary one !

300zx TT calipers
Calipers are fine, I'll clean them before I take a pic - they were on my car until a few days ago. I'd want you to look at the discs before you made an offer as they are cross drilled which can lead to cracking. However, these ones are genuine Brembo castings and were bevelled and stress relieved before installation. As far as I can tell they're fine. I'll take the pic tomorrow and email you.

sequential box
Don't think it was Timmy Turbo who had one, there was someone here though who did, maybe it was the other Tim ....

300zx TT calipers
Mine are from a Jap spec Series II car, late '92 and they definitely haven't warped. Nor have I ever heard of anyone elses' warping. They look a bit nicer than the cast iron ones too.

diff oil and gearbox oil
It can be. I used the same, fully synth Silkolene in mine. Got it from Oilman on this forum. Result seems very smooth.

300zx TT calipers
I have a pair of the ally ones for sale and I'm in Cheshire every other weekend, we may be able to sort something out. Who knows what a decent price would be ? I also have a set of brand new Porterfield pads and some 2nd hand cross drilled bremo discs, which only have alittle wear on them.

"Sweet Jesus and all the little orphans". It's like the Rezillos meet the Glitter Band !- propshaft vibration
That is 100% correct.- bored
Surely, it's the square root of 16 ? :D - Shims
Yes the new pads will be a different size. I think my new calipers have the shims included (as well as the pads!:D). Suggest you call Mike Feeney to check in his catalogue for what you actually need.- WOW look at Daisy

I actually thought mine were stainless but now I'm not certain. Mine are pretty knackered, but it never seemed to make any difference to the working or installing. They should have a fine coating of copper grease anyway. Brake cleaner is available in Halfords. As far as I can tell from the smell it's spray cellulose thinnners, so that or meths would probably work fine too. - Musicians- what you involved in?
