I altered the timeout for logins. A while back you complained about the new message flags being reset too quickly after you logged in (and went and made tea!). The same timer is used for that as well as the user time-out.

If an item has been 'removed' and not completed then typically all trace disappears. You could try the advanced search for recently ended items.

Yep, you could do that but it would affect all the speed sensitve stuff on the car, so pretty much a bad plan. Getting a speed delimiter installed, or better still a remapped ECU chip would probably solve the problem.

I've got a faulty ECU with pretty much the same problem. I have to physically unplug the ECU to stop the engine !

Probably, I've asked Mike to take a look, may need vBGarage reinstalling, but I think it gets dumped soon anyway as it's not supported by the latest version of the forum software. Think Mike was looking into an alternative.
