  1. The membership pack, but only if you managed to miss out on it first time round.
  2. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/208327/nissan_gtr.html I want !
  3. Plus mine and Nisstek are one and the same, with the exception of some of my switchable dual map jobbies.
  4. Running phone over network cable, eg cat3/5 would be fine. Can't remember the pin-outs, but you'll be able to work it out.
  5. Tupperware central ! LOL :D Reckon you'll want to change the wheels when it's all done ...
  6. It happens pretty quick in a helicopter though - and it was dark ....
  7. Halfords sell a Champion filter, part C109 that is the right one. Think the pukka Nissan one is fractionally cheaper though.
  8. My neighbour is selling his, although it's a non-turbo. good reliable car though ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=250107781288&rd=1&rd=1 Hideous bodykit ! LOL :D
  9. It's not really about larger surface area, it's the increased distance from the centre of the hub, it's down to mechanical advantage. I'm sure there's a Stoptec document that explains the maths of this somewhere.
  10. I used to have original alloy callipers and cross-drilled Brembo discs with EBC pads and braking was acceptable, definitely better than the original discs/pads. I can see how larger discs will improve performance, as long as the callipers are working well enough to exert the clamping force required. I then swapped to 350z calipers and discs on the front and the difference is significant ! A gentle squeeze on the pedal has the tyres chirping over the white lines and really digging in on grippy tarmac. I'm now fitting (eventually) rear 350Z diiscs and callipers. The discs are somewhat larger than the originals and will mean the removal of the dust shields, plus modification of the calliper mounting points on the hubs.
  11. Richer Sounds - they usually have some bargains.
  12. With the new 8Mb services you need to reboot the router frequently over the first couple of weeks as it effectively 'learns' the capability of your line. Of course if your line has a fault that won't help much !
  13. Lol - I'd know if it was you - it'd be running on 5 cylinders ! :)
  14. Hmmm, strange, you had become 'registered' again, no idea why. I'm hoping some of these odd problems go away when we get the new version of the forum s/w installed.
  15. Well that's good news, I've not seen him for a couple of weeks, so it looks like he's on track for a manual Z then.
  16. If you have a chance of a good cheap NA auto box, then Rag Top Rob may possibly be interested, although I think he really wants a manual.
  17. We're waiting on Mike to do it. This is a complete update for the forum s/w and then loading in a replacement for the current rides s/w which is a completely separate package. The existing Rides package is not compatible with the new forum s/w so any existing rides info will probably not be directly importable. I suspect Mike will try and hack some scripts together so that you can still get to your old Rides info and copy it into the new space. Unfortunately, all this takes time and he has a business and life to run as well.

Well if you're happy with it then don't change it. However, if you try an alternative you may see a marked improvement in performance.
  20. Van Aaken is a reputable company, obviously there are a few others too.
  21. The Jap spec auto box cooler is a plastic tank on one side of the main radiator, the UK spec uses a tank on each side of the radiator. I'm not convinced it does any cooling at all - after all the radiator is at 80+ deg C. I do wonder whether it is intended to get the autobox oil up to temperature quicker !. Anyway, many people replace it with a 'proper' oil cooler. The jap spec engine oil cooler is about half the size of the UK spec oil cooler.
