  1. hollowpoint, get some 555 injectors, and a custom map to 16 -17 psi. that alone will make 430hp + and one hell of a difference. or maybe in just making noise as marty puts it :-) from what i can tell you just want a fast reliable car, im no pro but the above is what you really need. IMO.. mapping is the key though.
  2. lightened flywheel, pulleys, crank pulley, and divorced elbows, some big turbos injectors and mapping.... TBH mate, when i done the above on mine it FRIGHTENED me. i rarely run it at 1 bar its that rapdio, and the turbos are good for 2bar!!! you want power to vent anger and go on track, BIG TURBOS and a few supporting mods is all you need pal. ive tamed it down for winter with stock ecu 370cc injectors and small diameter exhaust, otherwise ida shown you on Sat. hopefully someone else there has a suped up 300 that can give you a spin.
  3. try a local kwik fit they do a drive in mot service so no need to book, surely there is at least 1 garage with a slot between now and friday.
  4. prob a waste of monet tbh mate, unless your making a street monster, its not worth doing silly mods like this..... kinda like lightened flywheels and racey cams.... its your choice of course, but im just sayin...... is it really worth the ££ to you.. just to drive around on normal roads.
  5. was kidding mate. before the sensible police jump all over my comment :-(
  6. just drive it anyway, its only a £60 fine :-)
  7. LOL @ Eggs. nice to have another 300 round these ways, shame its not running, PM me if you ever need anything, i do have a personal mechanic on tap that does some amazing work on 300zx's, and he comes out our way QUITE alot.. mrs house looks lovely. BTW porsche (droooooooooooooool)
  8. NORWICH /.///// NORWICH how dare you bring a SWB round here, im the SWB TT daddy in this area. :-)
  9. legally you can drve it to an MOT station and back, drive it to z world and get it mot'd
  10. im 25 2 crashes 9 points 2 yrs NCB pay £387 a month..
  11. looks more like a vauxhall frontrea
  12. PerpetualZero what disc size are those in the picture mate. is that the db power kit?
  13. seen various larger disc options with relocation brackets to fit standard calipers. is it worth/beneficial to upgrade to larger front discs whilst retaining the standard calipers. i was thinking something like 345mm drilled and grooved discs, but my aim is to improve braking force/ stopping power. would be good to hear from people with bigger discs...... as they have experienced the change. thanks in advance
  14. can i PM you closer to the time ZX TT you seem to know your stuff..
  15. yes id like to remove the pipework completely, so what do i need. and where from :-) and i DO NOT want an NA POT.
  16. ok soon i will be installing the driftworks hicas delete kit, but what parts do i need that go in place of the solenoid under the bonnet, to delete and remove it. And where can i get them/ it from. i do not want to get an NA PAS pot/ pulley though as i have lightened pulleys already.
  17. mine sounds better now ive put the standard back box on. it had two 4.5 inch jap cans on before and used to roar, now its more of a muffled grumble. the thing sounds aggressive as hell. current exhaust spec' .3inch divorced downpipes, and midpipes, decat 2.5 inch with mid silencer boxes, and 2 inch standard bore exhaust back box'z with quad 1.5 inch exhaust tips. never heard a 300zx sound nicer than this. ( quiet but aggressive)
  18. warm enough up my ways has been for months, and plently sunny too during the day :-) gets dark about 5pm but from 10-4pm its dryyyyyyyyyy and sunny :-)
  19. my clutch just failed. so had the AA tow me now im GUTTED. so im out until i get it fixed, sorry chaps.
