winter tyres people...... fitted quite a few over the years are the grip is amazing. snow/tyres too are incredible. some of you need to relaaaaaaaaax :-) there 20 yr old nissans for god sake :-) dont take them too seriously. even if you do break it, INSURANCE ;-) Theres more important things to worry about.. Q

even with stripping everything, cant you only save about 100kgs??? 16 stone ish... wouldnt of thought that'd make that much difference.. power/ weight is everything, but come on chaps. not worth going to extremes just to win a drag race with a ' normal car ' if you really wanna win most/all the time, get big turbos. injectors. supporting mods, and have it mapped. then with 500HP odd and 480lb/ft torque + you shouldnt worry about anything really. :-) oh yea, opt for lightweight alloys, as most dont realise just how bad unspring weight affects performance/ acceleration. big 18s are cool and look good, but big heavy 18 are literally holing the car down....

i never get why folks ' store the car for winter ' its just a car. use it man.

all that effort, with gears lights rpms revs etc, just to beat a golf LOL hahahhahaha your car must be wack. or just tune it, ecu , boost, breating mods. pulleys, lighthened parts. JOB DONE.

210-240 for me. for full tank. im beyond trying to find out why i can never get over 18 mpg changed everything except the MAF so far. :-(
