hahaha mine blew up. f*kin head gasket, weird how all the cars ive had recently with the have blow the engines, even my AMG CLK blew its lump.... either my cars are unlucky, or i drive on dodgy roads :-)

dude, spent 2k on it and now its not even running so im in the same boat LOL. next time the engine or turbos go, its either sell it on rb25 lump. fed up of poxy VG motor issues. rest of the car is brilliant, new seats and new interior make it a dream to sit in, next job, quiet exhausts, then full respray..

mine tops out about 120.... TT manual stage 3 mods, no matter what i do, 120 is as far as the speedo goes...

financially a kick in the ass, over 2k in 2 months on this poxy thing, not happy.

had a look under it today and the turbo itself is covered in oil, even the downpipe is leaking oil so im hoping this sounds like turbo failure, also noticed the vw/subaru sound is coming from the turbo that is dripping oil and not the engine itself. engine still revs fine, idles fine, and no majo or wierd substances in either oil cap or rad cap... BUMP

bump??? anyone else.... sorry but im totally crapping my pants here. as i hve no other car, and heavy work commitments, let alone the fact this thing needs another 1k minimum thrown at it.

no juddering or vibration at all, the car idles stable, but when you accelerate, it makes the vw/ subaru sound... but still revs ok if that makes sence. but after 3k it sounds normal.

look like this not my car, but same color smoke. cant even sleep im that worried.

any idea why the exhuast is covered in oil, its literally pouring out... the radiator is full, water is clean and clean. oil cap is clean too... im praying it is turbos, as ive an upgraded set waiting to go on, but with HG failure,thats me done with 300zx's as this is the 4th engine ive put into it.

both are clean... happened randomly, was working fine, then blue smoke, then went to white, and runs lumpy.... could it be turbos?? ive literally put this engine in 3 weeks ago... and it has 4k worth of engine rebuild receipts 20k ago..

what the hell........ any ideas as to what this may be? car doesnt boost anymore, lotf of oil in the exhaust and plenty of white smoke on idle and drive. it runs awfully too, sounds like a subaru or an old VW beetle. :no::no::no: help meeeeeeeee

new skyline is a giant killer a 12 second monster. and nearly 500hp standard. not to mention a 3.8 twin turbo if im correct in what ive read. seriously, comparing a 300zx to it, is like comparing. an i phone to the 1st nokia out LMAO.

as far as i know 2 of us on here have/had t28 equipped cars. both with upgraded intercoolers , intakes, and chips/remaps. mine had a little more work that the other i know of and was able to put down over 520hp with injectors, remap, lightened flywheel, pulleys, full exhaust system, rps clutch, bigger intercooler, intake. ive seen one other making over 550hp at FC tuning with the same setup but fully built engine and better manifolds and downpipes..... just an idea for you tweedy...

twin turbo with boost controller, im 100% its not getting dett as i get code 34 which from reading on here means no signal from dett sensor, not actual det. its the wire itself causing me greif as sometimes with a little wiggle and reset the code goes away. and the actual plug itself doesnt stay connected.

would a faulty dett sensor cause the car to run rich, also once bypassed will the timing go back to normal as i run an EBC.
