Off set z32
A ran 18" ET +45 (9" front and 10" rear) on mine without any problems, the 10" rear sat perfectly flush with stock arches whereas the fronts sat slightly deeper in the front wing but still perfectly useable. Here's a pic of the rear Not the best pic of the front as the wheel was slightly turned but it didn't look too bad and handling was spot on

What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
It's something that Brad and I have discussed on a few ocassions now and he's not dismissed the idea, he's certainly got the hardware to do it. I reckon we need to sit down and have a chat over a brew mate

twinz orders issue
Would it not make more economic sense to have a reputable company produce your parts in the UK under a licence agreement, thereby reducing lead times and associated shipping costs?

Pace make good quality smic's for the z32 http://www.paceproducts.co.uk/public_html/php/products_info.php?parent=4&productID=car/nissan300zx 3" pipework and I'm sure if you asked them they'd make up the 3" piping as long as you supplied a template for them to work from or just speak to someone like JP http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/ Coil pack pigtails, never had to look to be honest but all parts that I've needed I've picked up secondhand on this forum. Out of interest would you guys be interested in CNC'd VG parts? Literally everything from custom plenum designs, pulleys and manifolds to 5 axis CNC'd engine blocks. It's a conversation that I've had a few times with my mate Brad. He owns a company called Mikina and supplies a lot of machined parts to the F1 teams. If anybody wanted to check out what he can produce and the quality of it, feel free to stop by my place and I'll show you some of the parts that he's made for me over the last 12 months.

What the hell is with the parts market for the z32
To be fair Adjustable suspension - DW/Japspeed Uprated rad (cheap-expansive) - Japspeed/Koyo I/C (cheap-expensive) - Japspeed/Autobahn/Greddy/HKS Intakes - readily available Wheels - readily available exhausts/downpipes - readily available Gucci seats/steering wheels/gearknobs etc - readily available Hoses - Samoco/SFS ECU - Noel etc etc etc It's only really when you start to go beyond the usual bolt on upgrades that importing from the US really comes into it (ie. engine bits/turbos etc) For the vast majority of zed owners who maybe want minor bolt on upgrades and modifications, the parts are readily available in the UK and in all honesty I can't see that any UK based company would see the stocking of expensive parts such as turbo kits etc, as a financially viable option. Z1 and CZP can usually turn the kit around pretty quickly and it's on your doorstep within 48hrs, it's the import duty and shipping that's the ******* but is just a fact of life! The UK price (if stocked by a UK company) would have to incorporate the additional taxes associated with shipping the parts in the first place.

It may also make a difference if a few new body kit designs were created to bring the old girl back up into contention, because let's be honest a lot of what is currently available hasn't changed for 10 years+ Fat arse, Aggressive stance, sleak lines = more enticing for new/potential owners whereas 10-15 year old Viper/Vader/Victor/Verucca bodykits are all a bit....well....pants really! What z32 parts can't be sourced in the UK though?

Wheel Woes!
Accidents happen unfortunately and there really isn't too much that you can do about this. At the end of the day, taking a claim to the small claims court would be a long drawn out process and there's a good argument that the fitters have acted reasonably in offering to have the damaged wheel refurbed with the possibility of having the other 3 done if it doesn't go to plan. First off I'd hand the wheel over and see what the result is after the refurb and then go from there...

North Korea
Come on guys.....surely you know it's all a big ploy by the US in an attempt to take the world's attention away from the rest of 'their' going's on around the globe....The Kim Jong-Un you see on TV is actually a member of Team America in a fat suit (and quite a convincing one at that I might add!) the real Kim Jong-Un currently resides at Obama's pleasure, in a six by four Guantanamo luxury suite. He's been put on a special cabbage only diet and wears a tailored orange boiler suit with an extra stretchy elastic waist and collar.... Trust me guys.....but don't just take my word for it, next time you see the 'chunky one' on TV gobbing off about his nukes...watch out for the super secret hand signals that he sends back to the Pentagon!!! :ninja:

twinz orders issue
I wouldn't worry too much, I'm sure someone will copy them and mass produce the parts far more reliably in the UK (albeit under a new name, probably 'Semtex' or 'Vulcan' or something equally as shit!)

1 Year on and a bit - who remembers the old forum ?
Sometimes change is a sign of progress and of course sometimes it is not (for example the recent Hotmail change to the turd that is now Outlook or the recent forced change on Photobucket....) The 300zx.co.uk site change last year (for me at least) led to months of confusion and frustration, but over time I've managed to get used to it. However for the sake of my sanity don't change it again for a while please

Opinion on coilovers
Ask the seller for the TEIN part number mate, because to me in that pic they look like a mix and match of different brand parts. If they are made up of different parts that's not to say that they aren't a good setup or a reflection of their effectiveness as coilovers, I'd just insist on taking a ride in the sellers car with them fiited in order to judge for myself. Having said that if the price is really cheap then it may just be a case of taking the plunge and buying them at risk

Parcel Farce' do it again!!!
Just my luck eh! Completely unrelated to the Parcel Farce fiasco, we've now had issues with UPS. We have a lot of kit shipped over from the US and pretty much without fail the shipping go's without issue up until the point it hits UK shores. Last week we had a courier driver refusing to hand over the delivery until the Import Duty bill had been paid (which had been paid 24 hrs earlier!! We showed proof/reference number etc, but he still refused saying that his office had to confirm it. I flipped my lid and told the idiot that he needed to get onto his office and have them confirm it. The driver literally ran away from my doorstep saying that he'd speak to his office but then drove off, only to be instructed by his office to 'go and deliver the parcel to the customer', we got it 5 minutes later. Then there's todays cluster ****, kit shipped from US 5 days ago (it landed within the first 24hrs) then took 4 days to clear customs. It was scheduled to be delivered today up until the point that UPS on the update link informed me that they'd sent it to Stansted airport ready to be shipped to the States!!!!WTF!!!! Issue now resolved as we managed to intercept the shipment before it left, but it now means another 24 hr delay. We have a big shipment worth a lot of money due next week with a very tight deadline, and we would stand to lose a huge contract if we're late delivering, so much so that muggins here now has to fly across the pond to bring the kit back in person. Someone needs to get a grip of this shit!
