Sorry to Hijack, but is it possible to keep the stock guage working AND add an aftermarket guage WITHOUT using a sarnie plate ? I don't know cus I aint looked but is the stock sender smaller and can the stock one be fitted next to the steering rack and the aftermarket one in the stock location (if you get what I mean) :confused: CheerZ Paul

Bought one only a moth ago, they were everywhere or so I thought, that was just the display boxes, took box to counter, got from shop assistant 'sorry sold out, will have some in a week or so'. Looked everywhere. Got one from Nottingham town centre in the end, cant remeber where though. It was an independant place with a shop also in Ilkeston. Think HMV do ' em !

There are 2 aerials on the Z, one is the electric one on the drivers side. The other is built into the rear window right at the top, looks like part of the rear window demister but it isn't. You could try that and see how it performs. Probably not very well but worth a try ;)
