  5. cool thought so just wanted to double check. i have found core plug sets on the bay of e but whould there actually be any difference? they would all be just pressed steel right?
  6. hi as per title, where do you guys get replacement core plugs? im going to remove some of the flashing from my spare block and i need to remove the core plugs, whats the best technique to do it please? cheers gaz
  7. i just used a rachet strap with a bar wrapped round the front pulley to hold it still while i undid the crank bolt. it worked a treat for me.

  11. pads are the same between na and tt , i have swapped over pads between na and tt before :)
  12. the post office must sense its a cd by x ray and may not frank the stamp in fear of damaging the cd .

  14. only up to about 89 mm from what i have read. the water jackets are quite clse to the cylinder walls. standard over bores are between 87.5mm to 88 mm. been doing a lot of reading up on this as i am also looking to build a tt engine up from scratch.. a good article into performance vg30dett building is http://www.modified.com/projectcars/9909scc_project_nissan_300zx_part_4/index.html and im currently working my way through it trying to learn.

  19. i really like the fantasy effect, but not to ott. there is an american pickup i saw and that was the pic that convinced me to give it a go. i will see if i can find it.....
  20. cheers guys. just got myself my first dslr, a sony alpha d500 with two lenses 18-55 and 75-300. it has an auto hdr function built in but it only combines 2 images ideally you need 4 so went back to manual. i need to get a tripod next to be able to keep it steady enough.

  22. out HDR. now this is bloody difficult to do and it really needs a high contrasting area . but i have been playing with a picture i took the other day with my new DSLR. just wondered what you think .its made up of 4 ev stepped pictures firstly combined to give 1 image then tweeked in photoshop with tone mapping. i will get better but as a true first attempt im quite happy with it.
