  3. foook glad it wasn't at speed!!! people rave on about driftworks stuff. it just goes to show not everything is perfect no matter where you get it from.
  4. is it a lwb or swb? if its a swb i have one for sale http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=139569
  5. could these be used as an upgrade on z'ds. they are a 5 bolt downpipe turbo think they are T28? anybody know what they are rated for?
  6. OH NO!:crying::headvswal:headvswal Really hope this gets resolved without to much heartbreak!!! been loving the development on this car and would be a shame to do all that work for nothing. all the best fella gaz
  7. it does depend on the wheel if they are solid in the centre area or (like most) hollow between the hole pitches. if the wheels are 5 stud you can fit a 4 stud pattern between them with equal distance from the original holes. get an engineering shop to have a look at them. also if they can be done they could add steel inserts to give a stronger seat for the bolts to sit on too. an engineering machine shop could probably knock up the adapters cheaper then that tbh.
  8. I would give the idle valve a clean. they can get a build up of carbon and causes them to stick slightly. very easy to do. but requires removing battery (better access) to the bolts on the plenum.
  9. Thanks for your reply. Its not for cleaning its for strength. Cryo treatment is used in the motorsport industry. It seems to have the best effect On ferrous metals. I want to give the block im using the best chance of life. Found companies like frozen solid but they are too far away:)
  10. anybody know where i can get a quote for an engine block to be done in or around dorset/hampshire. i can only find ones upt norf! cheers gaz

  12. some z's on here have had there water feeds removed by some garages. but its not recommended from what i have read.
  13. its dry. but thats only because they have cut off my water for the next 5 hours for essential maintenance!!! gonna be kept awake not only by the muggyness but also a pneumatic drill while they dig the road up !!:headvswal:headvswal
  14. who else have they done it to and who else in the future will they ruin there lives. go get them they need teaching a lesson!
  15. cool but what i meant was your nice ally one with acrylic bolted to it to form a complete cover over the cam pulleys. so shiny top and clear front. would love to see an acrylic type too tho :punk::thumbup1:

no club stand etc then? :( oh well looks like im attending it in my bros car :(
  19. really like that and tbh wouldn't be much more fettling to get some acrylic or polycarbonate to form a complete cover. would love one of these but alas i cannot afford such luxuries as of yet!
  20. on the stock upper arms some people use spacer plates that sit behind the bracket to space them out to get a mild adjustment in camber. but i personally went with the full adjustable jobby as in the pic. but mine are coated in a smear of grease to stop them looking like they were just taken off of the titanic!
  21. nah didnt miss the targas they were the reason why i asked the question LOL
  22. cool colour coded Ariel too. :) like the spats btw, quick question whats left red on your car? have you done in the boot area and engine bay?
