in my setup i have 6x9 in doors running off an amp 6.5" coax in rear just running off of the headsunit will have 1 or 2 x 12" subs in boot when i can get my ass in gear to re build the boxes.

sounds like ptu failing to me. it heats up then causes cylinders not to fire. once cooled down the contact is made again and it will start. run her again , if she wont start poor cold water over just the fins of the ptu and see if she starts then ptu is bolted to the left hand cam cover , a series 1 ptu (common failure unit) is aluminium with a connector at both ends.

i have struggled to find out what the figures should be from all the pretty moving guages on my datascan software. can we build a database of figures so we can see if we have a problem or not. at the moment i feel like "all the gear no idea!!!" would be good for figures throughout the rev range something like this:-

i personally swapped mine out for some 6.5" coaxels. i made a mdf mounting plate . tbh not the neatest of jobs but it was a quick fix job any hownand has been fine foir the last 4 years its all hidden under the speaker grill so who cares.

i do because its not much more for so many benefits. protected ncb is one! driving other cars another to name but a few i also pay for caz fully comp too as it benefits her the most being a fairly new driver.
