Improved stock. Make it to your own spec but remembering that wheels, exhaust etc can always be changed to anothers preference. If you mod the hell out of the Zed then be prepared to face a long wait if you ever need to sell. Classic car status is just around the corner for this great machine and you don't see many modified classic cars - unless they are on the track!

A cracking day for open top zedding.

No question mark against my Zed. If the weather is fine, I will be in the Zed. Will be on my own so quite happy to give any other Zedless personnel a lift.

It's a mystery. Has he been taken by aliens? Did we all imagine meeting him? Only time will tell.

I think mine is about as far as its ever going to go. Classic insurance restricts it quite a bit and would prefer to be able to put it back to standard if I ever need to. That said, 99 spec bumper and spoiler could be a possibility.

Anyone know what happened to Kev (retro620ti). He used to be a regular participant in all the Cornish meets but haven't heard from him for ages. I know he was taking his Zed off the road to sort out a few issues but he seems to have gone from the site altogether. Have tried ringing him on his mobile number but there is no reply. Hope there is nothing wrong.

Mickeybigzed is a no,no. Just had a hernia op. Weather also looks a bit shite and I won't be going anywhere in my zed if its raining. Golf TDi is in the menders for what looks like a head gasket so I have no alternative vehicle. If weather is fine, you can still count me in but will have to see on the day. Do we intend meeting anywhere?

I had a cheap one put on my old N/A. Brother has the car now and it recently packed up - after less than 6000 miles. May be I was just unlucky but sometimes I think its worth paying the extra for something that will last. That said, not a big job to replace should it go again.
