fairlady sign
just had a good look at it and it aint plastic but metal. had a go at getting th dirt and flakey gold colouring off with brake cleaner, white spirit and brasso (the only things i could find) brasso works the best it just takkes for ever! any1 know something stronger i could use, dont wanna score it so want to avoid wire wool/emery cloth/etc. might just leave it silver and not spray it gold if i can clean it up without taking it off

setting up idle
i hope danny/stuart reads this cos he will probably be able to explain my problem to you alot better than i will attempt to. big thanks to danny for running a conzult on my car at th meet last weekend, amazing bit of kit. all seems fine apart from lazy O2 sensors (surprise surprise!) and tps set at 0.2V i know that the tps should be set so that the voltave reads 0.4V but that gives me a very high idle. dannny said the tps is set up right to compensate for another valve/sensor/something at the rear of the engine which also controls the idle. where is this thing i am looking for? what does it look like, any pics please? will i need any special tools to get to it and what do i need to do to it? thanx guys yaseen
