Hi, Western Digital have sent me a new drive to replace one that has got faulty sectors and I'm wondering whether it's worth trying to get a copy of Windows 7 to load instead of using XP again? I've never used Windows 7 and just see the adverts on TV for it, but is it worth installing over XP? Thanks Vijay

Mate, we've all been there and for me, I'm just coming out of the other end from a situation a bit like yours. After years she's contacting me but I'm just not bothered anymore. It's true what people have said, time allows you to see the bad stuff as the rose tinted glases fade ;) You will get there cos you seam like a decent bloke but it's just not worth playing any mind games along the way cos they always backfire...................

Dewi mate, you somehow have to draw a line on this girl, can't tell you how, wish I could mate. I can tell you you will always lose on this girl as she obviously doesn't see you for who you are, rather what she gets out of you :( I hate to say it but she's screwing with your mind which doesn't say much for her. Does she have to drive past your house each day or is she just doing it to get your attention?

Would small claims court not be the way to go as it won't cost you much to do it? What sort of tools/kit does he have in his workshop? Any idea where he lives etc?

Taken a back up but there's a couple of files (pictures) it can't access. Ran chkdsk/f and it booted back up into windows without stopping/reporting any errors. Chkdsk is still saying there's errors :( Is there anything I can do or should I replace the drive? Cheers Vijay
