Morning, Can anyone tell me the part number for the exhuast gasket that goes between the pre-cat and the turbo on the passanger side. Phoned Nissan's this morning and they say there's no pre-cat on a 92+ car.................why am I not suprised? Cheers Vijay

Hello Andrew, Here's one on testing the sensor circuit. http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/detonationSensor/detonationSensor.html It shows how to bypass the circuit but that's not always a good idea. As aaronjb says, the best option is to maybe locate it elsewhere. (remember seeing the tech document but can't find it).................. Hello Steve, Nice to see your still around mate!!! The Z's not bad, a few nigly problems to sort out, but I'll get there............................hopefully. The drivers side is fine, it's the passanger side with the added pre-cat that's causing the problem. It's held on by 4 bolts and doesn't want to fit evenly. I'm gonna order a new gasket tomorrow and see if that helps:confused: Vijay

Hello guys, Went to put on some de-cat pipes (from Johnny)today but am having a serious problem getting the pre-cat test pipe to mount flat onto the turbo. When the top 2 bolts tighten the bottome of the flange pulls out and vice-versa. Has anyone had any problems in the past???? Cheers Vijay

so if de-cat pipes were fitted and the "seals" leaked would it then be possible to fit the original pipes back on and he ends up where he started (if that makes sense)?????????????????? Vijay

If I remember rightly there are different seal kits for the different callipers - steel or aliminium - I think. Might be worth checking. Vijay
