uk/jap engines
just need to confirm that a jap engine will fit a UK car and vise versa and also will an auto engine go in a manual and vise versa. That was probably a stupid question, but hey:rolleyes: Just need to be sure................. Cheers Vijay

under washing/sealing
Hello everyone, I intend to underseal the car this summer and am wondering how I can get the car high enough to jet wash then apply the underseal into every nook and cranny. Any ideas? Cheers Vijay

Turbo Timer
I kinda don't get the point of them unless you can get it to work with your alarm. You might aswell get in the habit of taking it easy on the last few miles of your journey and then let it idle for however long. Does anyone know if insurance problems are ok with turbo timers. I know a few years ago one insurance company had a problem with remote starting on a car - kinda the same thing. Vijay

bodykits???
Hello Vicky, It seems that most people (including myself) are using P.P.S to fit and spray bodykits. He's all the way in Co. Durham but he's worth the journey. I travelled up from London and I think he's worth the wasted couple of days. He does a great job and he's half the price of certain others. Get the bits from the Z centre and have them shipped directly to Peter (P.P.S) - you won't be dissapointed!! Vijay

rusting subframe
bloody hell!!! I don't think mine is that bad but I'm gonna take the aircon rad out in the summer and have a good look at it. Do you think it's a diy job to change and where do I get a new one? Cheers Andy, Vijay

rusting subframe
yep, that's the one. Vijay

Consult software
I ordered mine the other week. As people have said the cost of taking your car to a Nissan garage could far out weigh the cost of a conzult. I figured it's got to be a useful tool if you're gonna keep your car. Vijay

rusting subframe
cheers Andy. Do you think I can get away with what my mechanic has suggested. I spoke to a friend last night who said I might be able to get the rusted bit cut away and a new piece welded in................... Vijay

rusting subframe
Hi all, While undoing everthing to do my timing belt, my mechanic pointed out to me that my sub frame is rusting away. At one point there is a hole I can put my finger through. He suggested that I treat it, fill the hole with waxseall, fix the whole with fibreglass then waxseal the complete subframe. Any ideas if that'll be OK? Why would it have rusted so bad? There are no signs of a rad leak, I've always had the plastic undershield on so I would presume that would stop the water from coming upwards. The only thing I can think of is that water has been held onto the subframe by the plastic undershield as that's what it screws on to. How would the subframe be replaced/repaired? Cheers Vijay

Feck. Smashed me Zed up
but the insurance won't know that, as far as your concerned that's what you were told. Vijay

Ordering from the States
Hello Tony, According to DHL, customs have a rule that any presents over the value of £36 is liable for import duty. As Konrad says you can lower the value but the only downside to that is if it goes missing you can only claim for the value you have put down. I suppose with most couriers you have a good tracking system so the chance of it getting lost would be pretty small - still a risk though................ Vijay If they come over, get them to bring them - that's what I do:)

Feck. Smashed me Zed up
Real sorry to hear that Paul but gladly your ok (physically anyway).............. If it helps at all my mate was offered a blue drivers side wing the other week, if you need it let me know and I'll find out if he's still got it. Vijay
