  1. Hello Zedhot, I've got a manual so can't really comment apart from the fact that I certainly know that 1 member (Mac1) has got the S.E fast road rebuild and swears by it. Do a quick search and you'll see it's been mentioned quite a few times recently. Vijay
  2. Hello Russ, The lamps are sitting on a bench in my garden, so I don't really know what they are like to drive with but the pictures certainly show the difference in the beams. And not yet mate, haven't had time to remove any of the console around the gear stick..........................but I will;) Vijay Clarkey, the sink is for my future wife when she annoys me, can't stop her from doing the washing up!!! (only joking of course:D :D )
  3. or there's a device from CPC which goes between your battery and the charger. It switches on if the voltage drops below 11.8v and swiiches off when it hits 13.8. The ordering code is HKSK127 and its £6.69. Vijay
  4. right, I've taken some pictures of 2 drivers side headlamps, one with Jeff's upgrade and one without. Niether of them had glass and they both were run off the same power supply. These are photo's with the upgraded light below: http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_below1.jpg http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_below2.jpg http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_below3.jpg http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_below4.jpg http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_below5.jpg This photo is with the upgraded headlamp on the right: http://rides.300zx.co.uk/rides/203/baco_right.jpg As you can tell the beam of the upgraded lamp seams to be larger. 6. one thing to check out - does your alarm have battery back up. If you leave the alarm on and the battery dies, it might think that the power has been cut and set the alarm off - mine does. Vijay
  7. I know there was a post by Jez a while back about adjusting the t bars: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13312&highlight=rubber Vijay

  10. I'm sure it was Iain who said you could use universal steering boots. Vijay
  11. Hello Dave, Yeah, you should be able to get rid of those to someone with a Jap spec as their rears ar 225's. Good luck, Vijay
  12. Get a jump start to double check. If it start (which I reckon it will) then it's the battery. Vijay
  13. Hello Lee, You'll probably find that your battery might be screwed. That's the noise it makes when there's not enough power to turn it over. Have you got one of those power pack things by any chance? Vijay
  14. cheers John. I don't need a bill for new tyres on top of the timing belt service and new clutch that I need:( :( I suppose I better wait................ Vijay
  15. I'm on Chris's list for the g.b but really want to get these shocks on so I can eliminate the shocks for the creaking noise I've got:( I might just put them on and hope it's within all limits. Cheers guys, Vijay
  16. anyone with Blitz springs.........................................
  17. Andy, by any chance do you know the part numbers. Also I remember (I'm sure it was Iain) who said you can use universal steering dust boots, any idea? Cheers Vijay
  18. Hello Andy, Just looked and there is a gasket there. I'm gonna get some new ones to go on when I do the shocks - is there anything else that you think would be worth changing when the shocks are done? Cheers Vijay
  19. I've got some AGX adjustable shocks and some blitz lowering springs to go on and I'm wondering if I'll need the camber correction kit. For anyone with the blitz springs, did you have any problems with tyre wear at all? Cheers Vijay
  20. I'm positive it's not the bonnet catch. Where was the goo stuff supposed to go on the bush? is it on the metal that goes through the bush or the actual bush itself (between the bush and the tension rod housing)? Cheers Vijay
  21. does anyone know who makes indiglo gauges? Cheers Vijay
  22. excuse the ignorance but is that degress C or F? Vijay
  23. Cheers Warren. Just been looking at some gauges, do you know the normal working temp and at what temp is it overheating? Cheers Vijay
  24. Hello Warren, Is there any symptoms that would tell me if I've done any damage? It idles and drives (very short journey) fine. Also, what's a stepper gauge? Does it just record the max it's hit until reset? Cheers Vijay
  25. I know it's been said here before but I now know first hand how crap the stock temp gauge is. My car decided to lose it's coolant yesterday and I was shocked when the temp gauge went from normal driving temp to very near the maximum in a matter of about 15-20 seconds while I was doing a steady 60. Luckily for me I managed to pull over and I don't think any serious damage has been done. I just couldn't believe how quickly it moved! I would recomend everyone go out and get an aftermarket temp gauge so you can have some sort of warning if your car overheats. That's next on my list (well after a timing kit:( ). Vijay
