It's a London thing mate - insuring mine is a nightmare too. I'm trying to sort out some sort of club scheme (but it's proving a nightmare). Call Livingstones on 0845-1223006 and ask for Jason. Tell your from this forum and see what he can do. Can you let me know how competitive he is? Good luck, Vijay

  4. Hello Jez. I've looked through the Maplins and CPC catalogues and can't find them. If I remember rightly you said you had some new speakers. 5. James, Very good mate. I did lots of searching on the net and that's what everyone uses. The only problem I have now is that every rattle gets on my nerves, so that's another job to do - sound proofing/dampning. Andy D has given me a few tips and I'm sure he's good for some advice too....................... As I said before, it can just be messy and time consuming. Vijay
  6. Hello Jez, I suppose the best thing to to make new holes then and then use those threaded plate things you get to mount speakers. They won't come off then. Cable ties - can he possibly screw anything else up????? Vijay
  7. Russ, Certainly did. James, It's made out of fibreglass (apart from the the speaker mount which is MDF). Pretty messy stuff but at least you smile a lot with the fumes:p Vijay
  8. yeah, I'm pretty sure that a few people have changeed them and there brakes have improved. DO a quick search, I'm sure you'll find some stuff on here about it. Vijay
  9. Hello Chris, Not sure if this is of any help, but I ordered my KYB's from the states and got them in 4 days - £330 all in (including taxes). You could always cancel the Koni's and order KYB's...................... If you want the details, let me know. Vijay
  10. Hello James, You can get a calliper seal kit from courtesy and there's instructions on tt.net to do them yourself. Vijay
  11. Hello James, Why not give it a go at making your own, that's what I did as I wanted to keep the boot. There's a couple of pix in my rides section: http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/vijay/ Vijay

  25. Hello guys, I'm putting together a new pc with an AMD Athlon xp2200 processor. The only thing is, when the machine boots it recognises the processor as Athlon xp1500+ ???????????? The only options I have in the bios to change frequency/voltage are: clock speed spectrum - disabled cpu/mem/agps's freq - 100/200/66 cpu clock ratio - default cpu voltage adjust - default I think these should be changed to: cpu/mem/agps's freq - 133/200/66 or 133/266/66 cpu clock ratio - 12.5 Any ideas - I don't want to screw anything up :( Cheers Vijay
