  9. I'm still using outlook express on my PC as I hate the new MSN one that windows now uses. I just like the simplicity of Outlook express but does anyone know of anything newer email cliets that are still a simple layout? Cheers Vijay
  10. From personaly experience, price does reflect the job you get. Take your time and look at work they've done/doing and if possible, speak to any owners of work they've done. Any job can look good when you pick it up from a bodyshop, but how it looks 5 months down the line is a different matter ;) Also ask how they fix kits etc If you were closer I would advise you to head into Custom Exotics in Harlow if you wanted a top end job Vijay
  11. Right, I've got one of these 3 amp SSR's http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290833291797?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 am I right in saying that when you put 12v to pins 3&4, then pins 1&2 make a connection? Info on the relay is here - http://www.gavazzionline.com/pdf/rp1a48d5.pdf with a functional diagram on page 3. Vijay
  12. I was chatting to a mate yesterday who I haven't seen in a while. He knows the headache I've had with my car and was asking why I haven't given up and just gone and bought a new car. I laughed and said that although I haven't driven a Z in 6 years, I remember it being a fantastic car to drive that turns heads in the street and looks like no other on the road. Sure, I could have gone and bought a 350 or something but it's just another car on the road that is nothing special - unlike a 300 :)
  13. lol, I thought no way is he getting rid of it! lol
  14. Hello mate, hope you're doing well? I've driven past and seen it looking sorry for itself on your drive :(
  15. Right, what I'm trying to do is disable/able a start button from the alarm - so when the alarm is armed, it cuts the power to start button unit. This has to be done by cutting the negative supply to the start button control box. The only usable wire, is this negative output wire from the alarm which is 0v when the alarm is on and 11 odd when the alarm is disarmed. There is no other wire that I can find that changes it's state when the alarm is abled/disabled.
  16. But won't that power the relay when the alarm is on (negative down the wire) and possibly drain my battery? "If the alarm output is designed to switch 0 volt it won't be designed to pass current when not 0v" that sounds about right but I was hoping to use what ever is there to switch something, is there no way of doing that? Vijay
  17. Cheers bud. I'm not looking to switch a large current, just a negative to a start switch ;)
  18. and a long sharp knife. Takes a while though - well it did for me anyway lol My hillbilly friends at Custom Exotics will be removing mine and attempting the rear screen too soon....................
  19. I have a negative output on my alarm which is used to switch on things like the tilt switch, microwave sensor etc. When the alarm is turned off, it switches to 11 odd volts and I wanted to use this to switch a mini relay but when connected, the voltage goes down to 7v and you can hear a tiny click from the relay. I assume there isn't enough current to actually switch the relay? So is there any way of using this low current 11v to switch a relay? Cheers Vijay
  20. Deliverance - the film that scares every man!!! lol
  21. Terry, they do tinting at Custom Exotics if you need someone to do it. No idea on price or anything but might be worth a call. Vijay

  24. Sounds a little cheap, would you really be able to find a 94 UK car for that price?
