  1. Morning Got a nice crack in my front screen from a stone and I have an excess of £75 on the glass. My concern is that my premium might go up this year cos I've claimed a screen. Has anyone got any experience of this? Cheers Vijay
  2. Hi, Any member near there by any chance? I have a small pump I need collecting and posting if possible? The item is already paid for :) Vijay
  3. yes mate, got my land :)
  4. IIRC conzult will give you the ignition timing that the ECU is reading (after it makes any adjustments from sensors etc.) nd not the real timing from the belt
  5. yep needs to be reset, IIRC the error code will stay for a certain amount of ignition switch cycles.
  6. Jap and UK odometers clock up differently, I put a Jap one in my UK car and it clocks up in KM's instead of miles............
  7. Get some degreaer on the latch. I just had the same thing on my other car and now it's fine again :)
  8. Really nice little family trucks, my mate has one to carry his family around. The 2.8 4M40 is a good old engine, same as my Challenger and will happily run on bio and veg all day long, so that's a nice fuel saving :)
  9. Thanks bud, PM sent :)
  10. Hi, Need an A3 size lightbox picked up from Nottingham during business hours (just behind the Vic Centre). Anyone in that area can collect it for me? Then hopefully if someone is heading to London would be perfect or can meet in Northampton (or anywhere nearer to London). Or if you could package it and send it or I'll have it collected by a courier (obviously I'll pay for the courier if you send it) Cheers Vijay
  11. is this something people can DIY at home or specialist equipment?
  12. Andrew, do you still need windows 7?
  13. Seal it in a HOT pan then in the oven, turning half way :)
  14. is it the 1/10th model? I found one ages ago, not easy to find :)
  15. happened to a friend of mine, rear shunt cracked the manifold
  16. Yeah that's the same one as I got. Guy obviously hasn't got a clue, the warranty is 4 years and as you may already know about the returns desk, the only question they ask is do you want cash or back on your card lol
  17. Another pet hate of mine is where they put the alarm module behind a kick panel where it doesn't actually fit - but they force things back together until the panel comes loose again - just cos it's easier for them :(
  18. I've found the same over the years. You're told to use registered installers for insurance purposes and then thy bodge it. The last one I had fitted (Toad) was a joke, boot sensor not connected, an obvious love for scotch connectors and the main wire into the ignition feed was held together by black tape - absolutely no soldering anywhere :( I've then seen the way the rednecks at Custom Exotics fit alarms and wiring, they solder everything and place all wiring into existing looms - not a scotch lock in sight!! lol. The problem is they seam expensive when people compare them to other alarm installers, but you get a completely different service and an alarm that you wouldn't know is fitted when you look at looms etc. Vijay
  19. what part of London are you?
  20. drove past last night, it was looking very sorry for itself mate :(
  21. What I have found with insurance companies is they are fantastic when it's someone elses fault as this is where they make more money. If they have to pay out, they treat you like crap!!
  22. I've bought from Mike Feeney plenty of times, great service on OEM parts :)
