Chopper's right, there are two ''dowel'' type bits that sit in the grommets at the btm of the rad, i changed mine myself, and completely missed the grommets! :slap: Was just the pipes holding it in! Have a look to make sure one of them hasn't popped out of the grommet. :dance:

Had my auto tt 8mths now, was seriously considering having it converted to a manwell, eventually found someone with a manwell tt ( cheerz mtrotter!), had a blast in it, didn't do anything for me (didn't even get a woody!! :eek: ). Will stick with the auto, spend the cash on some BOV's & a twin exit pipe instead, whatevers left i'll spend on optimax! :tongue:

That price was just a rough quote (paint is £90 per ltr!), would recommend him though (did a flip paint job on a mates golf, looked awesome). Carbon bonnet is a good option, theres a guy on http://www.z32.co.uk selling 'em, good price too! Try zedworld, they break z's, may well have a pearl white one. Gotta be worth a try! :dance:

Getting a colour match will be hard! :cry: I've got a pearl yellow z, and some w@nker scratched the wing! :cry: Took it to Tony Payne in slough (He is top banana!), he reckoned he'd have to spray the whole car for it to look proper!!! Approx £2k. You could try buffing it up with some cutting polish, but probably won't make a lot of difference. :dance: :dance:

There is a way of bypassing the detonation sensor, not sure what it is though, use's a transistor from a tv or something like that! Obviously if it actually is detonating, then this ain't gonna help you, chances are, it's the connectors getting gacked up though. If you do bypass it and the car does start detonating, then you ain't gonna know....until she goes bang! :(

Saw a green metallic esprit with white leather, looked awesome! If your gonna spend that sort of cash, have you considered a TVR? I've often thought of swappng the z for a gto but they don't look as good, and i've heard they're even more technical than the z! I'll stick with the z, looks as good as an esprit, and far better than a gto! :bow:

The TT does 0-60 approx 5.5secs....depending on traffic! :tongue: Speed limited to 155mph. Change oil/filter every 3-4k miles, big service at 65k (cambelt etc....) Not to bad on petrol....considering it's a 3ltr with two turbo's! Use super unleaded.

I originally wanted a skyline, but seeing as only the R34 & a handfull of R33 GTR's were officially imported to this country, the spares costs are ridiculous (£600+ for a w'sceen!). Even if you buy an imported z, they were officially released here from the word go, so spares are readilly available at reasonable prices. :dance: As before, the z is an absolutely gorgeous car, Something the Skyline isn't, unless you're willing to spend £20k on it! :eek: There's nothing else on the road that even comes close to it for looks Try looking at http://www.japcity.com thats were i got my z from, expensive, but its top quality stuff. :bow: You pay your money, you take your choice! :tongue: :dance: :tongue: :dance:

Once you get off the A34, head up the hill 2wards wantage, straight through lights at top, next right (besides a fruit/veg place), about 2 miles (skinny little road!), end up at t-junc, go right, 1st left few hundred yrds up. Thats e-hendred, pub is off the 3rd right (orchardway/close/road/avenue..can't remember!) About 4-5 miles from A34 junc. :hyper: :hyper:

Yes, only use a nissan filter, if you don't want to go to a nissan dealer, try zedworld, they stock service parts (cheaper too). My TT auto holds approx 3.5 ltrs with a filter change.....not much is it! http://www.zedworld.co.uk :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:
