Agree with Tanzx, Mine seems to ''tramline'' on any imperfections on the road (quite a few!), but it's something i've got used to. The Z is the perfect car......as far as i'm concerned. It's got looks, power & most of all......value for money. Some cars have cool interiors but look crap, some the opposite. The Z has it all. I'm the one who: Chose & paid for it, insures it, puts fuel in it!, drives it, cleans it, etc......so if people think they're slow & ugly, thats fine with me. They can just get back into their Hyundai coupes ( :rofl: ) & ****off! :D

Tack: You need H3's, but not uk spec! The ones you need have 2 prongs, uk spec's have one spade on a bit of wire. :confused: I had to get 2 for mine, they were £18 each! :shock:

I've read every reply so far on this thread, and you're all right, but as we all know...70mph is too slow on a m'way (in most situations anyway), but seeing as the govt get so much revenue from speeding fines & the like, they're never gonna raise the limit, just keep on persicuting the motorist. It's a source of money for the govt that will never stop coming in, and as more & more people take to the road, it will just increase. They class driving as a necessity(?), bit like drink/cigarettes, it's something people need/have to do, so they'll keep on putting up fuel prices, fines etc... Because the majority of us have no choice but to accept the increases in costs. Every time there is a budget, it's Cigarettes/Beer/Petrol/Tax that go up, because they know we have no choice. Imagine if they legalized Heroin! How much tax would they make on that?! Or Prostitution! At the end of the day, the law is the law and we have to abide by it.....Period! But...on the other hand, i can't see a problem with hitting the rev limiter on an empty m'way @ 2am! ;)

As for the ecu codes mate, try disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, let the ecu re-set itself. The non-starting when warm could be the P.T.U, but not sure? :confused:

Had similar symptoms on mine, it was the wires going to the injectors, try waggling them (gently!!) see if it makes any difference, same with the coil packs.....Just a thought!

If you do the mod involving the extra wire to enable you to use uk H3's, don't use 100w bulbs! I did it & kept blowing the n'side bulb, it zaps the power from the battery too, affects the tickover (well it did on mine! :confused: ) I ended up putting the j-spec bulbs back in! Theres a guy on here who can get 85w j-spec bulbs (two pronged), he may be doing a group buy on 'em.....keep 'em peeled!

Theres one in Abingdon, always @ 7am, just as you leave a 30mph limit into a 60 limit, whats the point of that? Theres no schools nearby. Surely it should be pointing the opposite direction as the traffic enters a built-up area? The coppers round my way are complete :xxx: .
