Claims to fame
When i was 13, i was in ''Sorry'' with Ronnie Corbett, was filmed locally (Wallingford) had the whole of our class as extras! Also..anybody here remember a band called ''King Kurt''? Have seen the lead singers dick!! :x: He was getting a BJ from a groupie on stage, my mate also lost his cherry to the same groupie on the stage as the band played! Made front page headlines!! Was at Reading university (sexadrome!!), back in '88.

Things you dont like about your Z
The way the water pisses in from the roof with the window 2mm down! Seatbelt's a fookin' nightmare, keep forgetting to release it before opening door! Other than that...........NOTHING AT ALL, IT'S PERFECT! THATS WHY I BOUGHT IT!!

One for you motorbike boys
I used to ride a Lambretta...........enough said! Had several Vespa's too! One of my mates had a Yamaha ''Banshee'' road legal racing quad  , anyone who knows what this is will understand how much ''fun'' this was! Basically an RD350, tweaked & put in a quad, sounds absolutely awesome, think you can ride one on a car licence too?

Help -am I being ripped off? (stereo)
Mine's a pioneer unit, it fits perfectly. The plastic ''flange'' :p that comes with it sits behind the dash unit nicely. The head unit has to be screwed to the metal bracket in the dash, most head units have several holes for this purpose try fixing it a little further into the dash, then maybe the plastic ''flange'' will tuck in behind to make a neat job of it. Hopefully this will make some sense to you! Mines an import too.

HICAS Problem
Any ideas where its leaking from? Mine sprang a leak in the power steering pipe under the engine area, its cladded wih pipe lagging so is hard to detect, if you (carefully) cut away the lagging there is a pipe joiner (pressed joint) joining the pipe together, mine leaked here. Take the whole pipe off & take in to a hydraulics Co, the chatged me £20 for a new pipe, make sure you take the joiners at either end with you too. The guy who fixed mine found it easier to remove the alternator (or starter motor, can't remember which!) to gain access to the pipe from underneath. Hope this helps........Simon.

Young persons insurance
Yes it's a commercial policy, but was originally swapped from a private car policy (max No claims) to a commercial policy when i went self-employed, have since been told that i can't swap it back to a private policy, as you can't use a commercial policies No claims on a private vehicle  If they'd told me this at the time, i'd have started a fresh policy on my van & kept the car policy running too. So now i have 10+ yrs ncb on my van and will have 3yrs on the Z in july.

Young persons insurance
I've been driving 14yrs, never had an accident, have now got a clean licence. Because my max no claims is on my work van, i've had to start a fresh policy (2yrs ago), i am 35yrs old :x: , i paid £825 F'C, with Osbournes, clean licence, 2 yrs no claims. Had a Supra single turbo & a 200sx before the Z. Have read on here about a firm called Houghtons who seem pretty good, will see what they can quote me in July when my policy expires.....the car is an import!

Try waggling the front bumper around, see if it squeaks, mine does & i haven't a clue how to fix it! It's actually under the bumper, around the intercooler vents where it squeaks. Just a thought! ;)

Oxfordshire meet...9th may.
Thanks to the 3 guys who made the trip, Baggins, Jonnyd64, Scooby1. Not a bad show for a 1st meet! The guy who owns the pub has a Poopra TT, he is willing to make it a monthly event, he will post on the Poopra site to gauge the response. How about you guys....anyone willing to make it on a monthly basis?

My Budgie squeaks gone
No problem mate, glad to be of help! Try Courtesy nissan in usa for propshaft bush, cheaper than uk dealers....even with shipping! They can also do the service pack for you. But your probably better off going to a uk dealer for plugs/filters etc. Brads a top guy, does a proper job for ''reasonable'' money!
