Is the whirring noise definately coming from the wheels? Read somewhere that there's a fan in the plastic housing between the t-tops, it's something to do with the a'con system. This can get clogged up and make a whirring noise! It's the vented piece next to the courtesy lights.

Not sure where they are put, most imports will not have one, so will need one fitted. Apparantly it's a diy job. contact Luke @ Zcentre, they do a kit for approx £200'ish http://www.zcentre.co.uk Gotta get one for mine soon too!

ooooooh yes, 'course he will, it's only natural :tongue: Mileage is anything from 15 - 25mpg, depending how you drive, mines a tt auto, i drive it with o'drive on and power switch down, i find that the best combination for mydriving style :p As with the rest of you, i try not to drive the z during the week, opting for my ford transit instead. Managed to last 3days once, just to tempting! Transit or Zed......Hmmmm thats a hard one!

When i park my car on my folks sloping driveway, leave it for an hour or so. It ticks when i start it up, but as soon as i'm on the road it's ok. This only happens when i'm facing up the drive, not down the drive :confused: Oil level is fine.

Mate of mine has a z 4 sale, it's tt auto import. Red, twin powerflow pipes, oil cooler, blitz filter (all new). It's a g-reg, T&T, not sure of the mileage. No leather. Generally good condition. Was it the 225bhp tt? they're quick cars! Have you run an ecu check for any codes? You could be running on safety boost, is the car noticeably slower, or has it always been like it?

Was advised by Jeff @ ******** to use Magnatec, he says that the z wasn't designd to use fully synthetic oil, as it wasn't available when the z's were new. :confused:

These were done racing mx, had to give up in the end......i went self employed.....no work.....no money! :( Hence the zed, gotta have something to play with on a sunday!!
