  1. Friend of mine had 6x4 ovals made up at powerflow in swindon, cost £400ish, cat back. Sounds awesome but i reckon they're too small though!
  2. Very nice! Are they split rims?
  3. They're what I call zorsts  - better than those Ribena cartons with straws!
  4. Agree with Jay! I've ridden a bike on the road before (for about 3 yrs), it does make you more conscious of other road users, including pedestrians. Mainly 'cos your'e worried they won't see you in time. When on a bike you have to think for all the other road users aswell as yourself, you never know what they're gonna do next! It was always the plonkers in their xr3's & xr2's on their dads insurance, they were the worst, From learner to pro racing driver in 2 weeks! Now 'cos of rising insurance premiums (mainly due to the afformentioned plonkers!), these kiddies can't afford to insure ''performance cars'', so they get a 1ltr nova, stick a maxpower sticker on it, suddenly it's a ''sports car'' & so therefore should handle like one (which obviously it doesn't), so they drive like Mr Schumacher & end up in a ditch, along with their passengers, hopefully not killing them, but teaching them a valuable lesson on driving. At least the xr3/2's were sporty cars, so had uprated suspension etc.... Most people who own sports cars are ''older'' so should have had a fair bit of driving experience by then, and hopefully be more responsible! Gone off on a bit of a tangent there! Anyway....the more cars there are on the road, the more m'cyclists will be getting killed.....sad but true. I wouldn't ride on the road again, far to many penis's who can't drive properly, or idiots with no insurance. I used to race motocross, thats safer than riding on the road. At least if you do bin it, everybody's goin in the same direction, & there's an ambulance there to fix you! Thats my 2pence worth, i'm off for a fag!
  5. Yeah, second car could be an option! If you do a lot of mileage during the week (work & back etc), they can be thirsty!!(no shit!). I've got a Transit van!! 2nd car would be good in crappy weather too, keep the z locked up in the dry! ;)
  6. But yours will be harder to fix! They don't have a ''reset'' button do they!
  7. 322bhp from a s13!! Thats a seriously quick car mate, had an s13, approx 200+ bhp, that was stupidly fast, can't imagine what yours is like!! Theres a Norris Designs s13 in the Auto trader this week, 330bhp! he only wants £3k...........Bargain!
  8. Check out http://www.speednation.com/store/nissan.html Got a few model z's aswell as 350's & Skylines etc.... :hyper:
  9. Sorry mate 4got about you! :slap: Yeah, i asked him and he told me he was 23, not 21. Bloody sure he told me he was 21!!!! He couldn't remember who he was insured with either. He is on this forum if you wanna try & track 'im down, he is zedman2 Did you try osbournes?

  13. Ha, Ha! This site is invaluable to anyone with a zed, and well worth 20 sheets! I am in the process of subscribing by cheque, waiting for an address to post to. Baggins........i'm sure you told me that you need to have posted 200 times to become a member, is this true, or were you winding me up? PS: Your z looked awesome Baggins, how much did you pay for the MONDEO bodykit, whoever fitted it did a good job, i couldn't tell the difference!
  14. Can you e-mail me an address to post to aswell......please! Can only pay by cheque, but no address to post to.
  15. Thats the best morcambe joke i've heard....so far! What did Gary Glitter say to Michael Jackson? I'll swap you two fives for a ten! :x:
  16. Anybody can go to a solicitors and claim this that & the other, still has to be proved if it got to court, and doing it to a neighbour is just plain shitty! This guy sounds like ''Norris'' from corrie! Should have sorted it out face to face, he claimed he didn't want to cause any ill feeling between the two families. He obviously did, as the guy felt the need to post it on the scooby site! TBH, the ex bogey should be tied to a lamp post, and when the streetlights come on..........he should be shot.
  17. A guy i know bought tt import, he's 21. He told me he got insurance for £1300!!! Not sure what cover it is though, i'll see him later and ask who it was with. Watch this space! :) I'm 34 and paying £800 fc, 2 yrs bonus. Went through Osbournes, they specialise in imports. Give 'em a ring on 0845 330 6001 http://www.osborneandsons.co.uk
  18. A mate of mine has m'black z, his does the same sort of thing. Black is probably the hardest colour to polish, all the white dust etc.... Have you tried using cutting polish? Or maybe some of that colour polish? D'you know anybody who does valeting, they'll have a ''mop'' (like an angle grinder with a polishing pad), that together with some cutting polish should sort it for you. ;)
  19. Agree with srrae, turbo gauge won't go over half way on + side when in s'boost. Turn screw again for 2secs to take out of diagnostic mode. :)
  20. Got mine from him......nice bloke. He's based in Yately, but was gonna move house, don't know where though. Bit pricey, but as before.......good stuff ;) He had a z with 26k on it, probably sold by now though.

Only seen one slicktop, and that was in a photo! It was on the aus site, silver with a wide arch kit, looked awesome. If yours looks anywhere near as good as that one did, then you're very lucky, and me and probably everyone else on this site are VERY jealous!
  22. Never heard of that one before, nice rims though!
  23. What do the AIV's do anyway? Is it a good idea to remove them? Have read the removal article, seems pretty straightforward. I've got a single exit HKS super drager, it makes all kinds of weird noises, would removing the aiv's help?
