  1. tiny hands matey! it is very awkward, there are a few things you can remove i think to make it a bit easier, i changed the clips for good jubilee clips when i did mine, that way you can get a long screw driver down there to tighten them up, rather than warrioring with those horrible clips... and you might as well change them both whilst your at it...
  2. I have a mines too......
  3. I just put in magnatech 10w40 semi syn last night, massively smoother and lot quieter, but i did have shitty running in oil in before...
  4. Any use mate? http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=din+plate&_sacat=0&_odkw=nismo+din&_osacat=0&bkBtn=&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313
  5. it's a left hooker, lookin at the brake servo....
  6. Crikey, there wont be much of the original shell left when you've finished! Fair play mate, braver man than me, I'd maybe do it with an E-type or something, cos you haven't got much choice, but i don't think i'd tackle that bad boy!
  7. Cheers mate, I'll go get some later on, she needs a transfusion....
  8. arrr well, probably summet n nowt matey, hope so anyways...
  9. usually mate yeah, but as you described it, could be gearbox oil from the front oil seal on the box, have you been under it and had a look where the drip forms? if it's where the bell housing meets the block, likely to be one of those two... if you've only had one drip, i wouldn't worry too much, just keep your eye on it... even brand new cars develop very slight oil leaks rather quickly...
  10. (I wasn't being entirely serious btw...)
  11. you could loosen the other bolts and drive it over some potholes...
  12. have you topped any fluids up lately, spilt a bit perhaps?
  13. i don't think any of them places will do ins. group 17 or above... i got insured for 3 weeks with direct line once, not on a zed tho....
  14. Cheers mate, might go yellow me thinks....
  15. gearbox oil? could it be the rear seal leaking a tiny bit and dripping from the bell housing/block joint?
  16. I have a set of front pads from an 03' micra 1.0, was wondering if they will fit a note (1.4, can't remember the year), just curious, they are both toy town cars, and the pads are here in my cupboard and my mate wants me to do his brakes tomorrow, might be able to save him a few quid...
  17. Is it oily? if not, must be dirty coolant? i can't say i have tasted all the juices of my zed yet... ;)
  18. Mine does the same, doesn't move, sits at the bottom, and only twitches a notch or 2 when you boot it, going to a scrappers tomorrow and gettin a new sender unit thingy for peanuts, the bit where the pipe goes in has broken off and been repaired, good enough job tho, so it's not that...
  19. I don't think so matey....
  20. is it any good? i need to change mine, still got running in oil in it, and she's run in now, and halfrauds (i hate the place) are selling 10w-40 semi-syn, 4 litres for £26, but ya get a one litre free.... A simple yes or no will do :) :) :)
  21. got any pics matey, of both colours?
  22. hey mate, no offence intended! your right about driving about with it primed tho, as i was saying, i quite like em, with that bit chopped off, will look tasty i reckon.... i didn't think i had seen one of those before, just the NA one...
  23. like i said, it was only summet i thought about when one went past, could pick one up for peanuts from a scrappers, i can see it not looking too bad, prefer mine smooth 'at the moment' anyways tho!
