This was the first thing I did on mine. Took about an ohur or so to do. Very easy !

When you next boot and get this, press F2. This will bring up the BIOS setup. It is usually enough with Dells to just save and exit. That should get rid of this, if not it is still quite easym just need to be talked through it.

91 Jap TT - Cost me £1,700 a year ago, spent about £1,400 replacing various worn parts and the clutch (lesson 101 - be careful when you engage the clutch at full pelt !). Its my daily ride so get lots of use though. Needs some more cosmetic fixes and a spray over otherwise its sound.

I have a Virgin card that I used to pay part of my season ticket on (It had a 12 month interest free offer on transfers). Started OK then 2 months ago the Standing Order took 4 days to go through instead of the normal 1 day, so they charged me a late payment fee and took off the interest free offer. What made it worse that I didn't receive a statement that month either and they didnt even write to explain. When I compained they said it was my failt but after explaining the money left my account on the day of the Standing Order they agreed to give me the interest free again and would credit the charges if I showed the money had gone out of my account as I said. I think all banks are running accounts to the terms at the moment to not get caught with bad debts and to get as much in charges as they can.

I had this last month on one of my machines at work. I removed the network connection and reinstalled it in the end as I couldn't find the fault. All worked after that...

I used to be heavily into painball in the early 90's (once or twice a weekend) that ended up with me running a site for the owner for a couple of years. Since then I have only played a handfull of times but love the rush.. Should play again really.

I have found that after driving through a heavy rain storm, the car gets a really bad vibration / jolt through the steering wheel (and can be felt through the seat), as though I am driving over cats eyes. This happens at about 60mph and gets progressively worse to the point it is hard to steer. If I stop and leave the car for a minute or so it goes away! The only thing I can put it down to is water getting into something and draining away when I stop but as the ground is usually wet I cannot spot it. Anyone had this or have any ideas where to look ?

You can get them regassed but they need an adaptor, so kwik fit cannot do it. I took mine to a specialist who regassed and after getting a face full of refrigerant, diagnosed the leak to the compressor. Only charged me £70 for the regass and adaptor. All I need to do now is replace the compressor !

I get a milage allowance, so another £100 toward the Zed upkeep fund on its way

Mine is a 1991 and I have mine booked in with a local firm for Saturday morning to have a replacment valve and re-gas. Inc VAT it will only cost me £70.
