  1. Just checked mine as I didn't know this and you don't get a 10 year card when you change address ! I moved in 2004 and mine runs out in 2010, so I had to pay to change the address and then get charged again in 2010, robbin b*****ds !
  2. Did you get this sorted ? It will be hard for me to take a bonnet on the train at 7:20 in the morning ;):nelson:
  3. I agree, the location was excellent and the drive was no problem (must get the aircon fixed though ). The site had lots for the kids to do which was also a bonus. The only criticism I would make would be the lack of camping space. The MR2 club had taken over the quiet camping area and the Mazda's the general. I will almost certainly be there next year. Mark
  4. Topless, I will be going to Wolverhampton in the next few weeks and work in London if that helps..
  5. Can I add my congratulations to Steve and Kim on a great event. We all enjoyed ourselves and it was good to put faces to the IDs. My eldest is chuffed she managed to be on so many of the pictures. Trish - sorry to hear you had a mare getting home Groover, thanks for the advise and I will certainly be getting my dash done, it looks awesome. My car has nothing on you guys but has certainly given me some ideas of what I want to do. Mark
  6. Dan If Stevie hasn't been able to help, I would suggest that you remove all encryption to start so you know it all connects. Also check that the laptop requests an IP address from the router, this way they will be on the same subnet and will be able to talk to each other. If this still doesn't work send me a PM and I will try and talk you through it (or persuade one of my IT guys) to talk you through it. Mark
  7. Congrats... I will try and make as many meetings as poss..
  8. Confirmed - Coming over Saturday am - will camp over unless it is raining or kids are too much of a nightmare
  9. I have just bought a bottle. :hyper: If it arrives in time I will bring it with me to JAE should anyone want to use it ... Mark
  10. Get a Hard drive enclosure from ebay (they cost £5 - £10) Then just plug it into another PC and it will behave like another drive.
  11. Forgot to mention that the PA to the CIO (the head of the department you will work in if you get the job) is from Bristol and is always going back to see her mother and sister. I decided to stay in Northamptonshire and travel to London each day, my assistant moved down from Cumbia in April and shares a flat on the east of London and loves it. If I was you I would go for it but I am biased because I already work there !
  12. Alan One thing to bear in mind with Blackberrys is that they transmit data every 5 minutes to ask for updates and it incures a data charge when sending and receiving an email depending on the size. This is unlike a text that only costs xxp per text. check the data costs this will be the big outlay for you and ask what the charge if abroad as these can get very expensive and there is no easy way of turning off the email function and still let you receive calls. Also be warned, they may try and offer a differnet phone with email on it but last time I checked no other device will automatically send the email to you (push technology). You have to press a button to get the phone to check for emails and from the sounds of it, not what you want. I hope this helps Mark
  13. Alan Is the 8100 for your daughter to use in China ? If so then how long is she going to be out there ? You need to remember that Blackberry will be downloading data at International rates and it may be cheaper to bnuy one when she gets there. My firm has offices in Beijing and Shanghai. I am more than happy to get some costs for you if you want. Device wise I know quite a few people who have these and they find them easy to use. Mark
  14. Murt - What job are you looking for and where ? My firm are looking for IT people (one in the network team).
  15. I have just gone to my local Kwik-fit to get the air con re-gassed and they didn't have the right connector. Mine is an import. Does anyone know anywhere arounf the Northamptonshire area that can re-gas or can provide a conversion and how much ? Thanks Mark
  16. Dan As everyone else is saying, it sounds like it is knackered. If you unplugging the cables and then boot it up, it should be OK. Either buy a new unit or use a USB memory stick. Mark
