  1. Even though you mentioned iyou could smell petrol, I would check you are getting fuel to the engine as well... When mine wouldn't start, I assumed electrical until the AA man found their was no fuel going into the fuel filter.
  2. For some reason Fluffy sounds like an ideal alter-ego name for a Zed.
  3. RS but will not be the cheapest. They have a sales counter in Corby so you can collect if needed. If you get stuck with them, let me know. I used to work there and still know quite a few people there.
  4. Well I must win the prize form least spent getting there... How much will 4 miles of petrol cost? Gary - your first picture shows me and the kids !! Now have a 13 year old who is embarrassed that she is on daddy's car website.....
  5. I think he lives in Kettering, I saw the same as you described a few weeks ago, then the next day he followed me to the petrol station in a vectra, had a water pipe fail and wanted to know where to get it fixed. He said he was on this site....
  6. Happy birthday Graham
  7. Is it too late to buy an advanced ticket from the club?
  8. Happy Birthday Mikey
  9. I was there today. Took us an hour and 20 minutes to get from Banbury into the circuit. We got out of the minibuses at one stage and walked ! If you saw it on TV, you would have seen it rained pretty hard and then again during the GP2 and GP3 races. When we left, it only took us 30 minutes back to Banbury. Some of the roads were flooded in the circuit but there were no cars on the grass car parks in an effort to let them be used tomorrow. If anyone has the chance to go with Paddock Club hospitality, then take it. It is amazing. Ours was sponsored by Dell and Caterham, so we had two tours of the pit area and unlimited food and drink, all waiter service. On the way to the pits I even had Deamon Hill hold the door open for me!
  10. Yes I had a membership pack in 2008. My ID is in my old forum name though.
  11. Gary - I have just renewed my membership using my wifes paypal so is in the name of Jane Rowley
  12. The reason given on the BBC web site is that only 0.6% of cars on the road will be affected and they account for only 0.03% of all accidents and injuries. They also say they are usually more looked after than modern cars as the owners are always fixing them !
  13. A friend in our village is a runner. They have been told he can buy the torch after he has run for £200. Not a bad markup if he gets the £135k !
  14. Congratulations Ian. Wishing you and your family all the best going forward.
