I have done it a couple of times and wish I could do it more often but there are not many drop in sessions near us that I get to know about. You give blood as often as you want and it is very easy and doesn't hurt. You even get a free cup of tea and biscuit afterwards. One thing I would say is make sure you have eaten something beforehand. I went once having not eaten for 5 hours and felt a bit funny after, a snickers bar later I was fine though. Definitely recommend everyone to do it.

All A bit of local info for you on getting to and from JAE this year... If you are coming down on the A1 then you should know there are delays / closures on the A43 at Corby. It is a lot quicker and easier that way on three counts 1) you will be fighting local traffic going to Tesco's 2) there are three roundabouts and a set of traffic lights on the J9 route ending on turning right into Wickie's, J10 route is quieter and you turn left into Wickie's. And 3) every other Jap car will be going this way! Anyone needing any other local info then more than happy to be contacted and I will help as much as I can. Mark

I liked the idea Jeff had of meeting up and doing a road trip to a beauty spot for a meet. I like JEA once a year but personally do not like being in one place too long as I get bored quite easily. The road trip around Ireland mentioned earlier sounds like a great idea.

Fitted spigot rings and new clocks. Now speedo reads to 180mph instead of 300mph and stopping when I go over a certain speed. Car is now running as sweet as a nut after a run to Wolverhampton and back today.

I have had a great day with my family. County Cub Camp this weekend and we won the tug of war today. Got home to work on the car putting carpet and interior back in. then I had tea cooked for me and then a personalised chocolate bar and this from my eldest... What to eat first !
