  3. would this be the same route for the actuator pipes if you have a boost controller fited if so them ive found my problem?
  4. finished boost leak check and found 1"split in under maff pipe a little hose that wasnt on and a slight leak where the air intake large pipe bolts onto the tubs. That said she runs loads better but theres still slight hesitand and the reving through the rev range still isnt crisp? me thinks a new set of cold plugs maybe?
  5. What does it do and how can you test them, the rod on mine is really stiff ,is that good? just wounded what they do?
  6. If i fitted a large fmic and a large air filter will i need to fit a larger fuel pump?
  7. dose anyone have a pic of the cas please
  8. bargin tescos it is then.but how much pressure do you put in?

  10. Actuators are located /bolted to the tubs i know this but dont no what they do or are responable for nor do i know how you can test them? are they movement in the arms ment to stiff or just move?
  11. so where would these pipes go if you had a EBC/BOOST CONTROLLER?
  12. your a star email comming your way, cheers bud.
  13. maybe i should have said boost leak test?
  14. I would like to try a boost leak test, please can anyone tell me can this be done from home with the air suppy comming from a spair wheel as i cant move my car yet what ill need to do ect please?
  15. there is some where which tells you on what they are by there colour
  16. go into safety mode if you had a boost leak?
  17. Yes i have so bypass now comming and rolling road laters, thanks to all looks like problem solved after all.:clown:
  18. Ok then if the car has been put in safty mode because of the det senor then when in safty mode is the cars revs or timming chaneged electronically at all?
  19. So because ive fitted a rarther large fmic and a very large k@n air filter thats messed up the air and fuel mixture resulting in my flat spot and the det sensor doing its job thus given me code 34. So im to leave well alone and wait until i can get the car set up again on a rolling road. Good job i have AP TUINING about two miles from were i live.:punk:
  20. Got to sort brakes out first cars been off the road for 4 years.and i dont get a lot of me time with two young children and a baby
  21. COULD THIS BE A RESULT OF:the car is idaling at say 750-800 rpm sound lovely not lumpy not noisey in any way, then you touch throttle now, it dos'nt rev sothly up to were ever you want it holds back for a secound almost if its staving of air then the revs come in thick and fast , now it doesnt matter if you rev it from 1000 rev 2000 rev 3 or even hold it at 4000 revs also it dosent matter if the peddles down hard or soft.THE DREDED DET SENOR
  22. got the codes and they are 34 and 13 now im thinking because ive bolted on a huge fmic and have a large k a n air filter the engine cant get enough induction air straght away and thats why the det sensor is probley retardind from firing because i now need her to be set up again proply with that set up .make sence or am i still trying to make things complicated.bassicly rolling road time.
