i bet your clyinder that is not working is no 1 . the reason i say that is cas when i bought my car after it had been round the world twice and then i took to zedworld he found a dodgey plug no one cas thats the one whitch get unpluged pretty much for everything by that i mean the wiring to it,?

I spent last week or a good part of it weilding new sills into my uk tt and had to pull the carpet back as not to set the car alight, today fitting the carpet back properley i cant spell so anyway, i found yet another box of tricks only this one has some srt of setting like a small slit for a screw driver for setting up boost i think. cas that one hidden away and wired into the ecu yet the other one is more of an on and off hi/ lo controller sort of things is this a norm set up for hks set up. the plot thickens whos put what on this car as i dont know cas bought it of a trader.

i didnt say id have them yet. looking forward from post cas my other stuff. tut tut.

Right heres what ive done and what ive done since, let me explain. when i bought my car it was a standard lwb tt i think, but had an aftermarket boost controller fitted. the boost controller had no instructions and i didnt and still dont know how it works, bassically i wound it up and done my oil seals in my tubs. Now over sometime i have taken out engine replace with newbuilt tubs with 360 degrease bearings and stagered step oil seals or something like that. also i now have a large enough k a n air filter that feeds more clean air into the engine than the channle tunnle needs, and one super large front mount intercooler. The car runs sweet as a nut but it hasnt been further than a trip on a car transporter to my brothers garage so i could catch up with the wielding brake pipes and stuff ready for pre mot. I am now thinking im wanting to put car back on transporter to somewere who can put a new cam belt on and set the car up so if once setup just turn the contoler on and of so i can play without killing it again, and im just glad one of the tubs were weak proberly saved me from killing engine. IS THERE SUCH A PERSON TO DO THIS AND HOW MUCH? may thanks, once done ill finish the car with new gloss black paint to match the new satin black wheels and once more a lwb uk tt back on the road . i bought a fmic whilst the engine was out cas replacing tubs. turns out the pipes on the front mount that i put on without instructions well i put / plumed it in wrong. aparantly the pipes cross over they dont look uniform from the front. As soon as i swaped the pipes over on one side. perfect no flat spot anywhere.

half way out the door .didnt check my spelling ,very goog.

thinking hard about justifying and spending money on a set of secound hand coilovers so i typed in coilocers in flebay and now confused theres so many and the price range is so great. anyone no about these things. theres pb /tein / d2 racing 638s /hsd hr and the list gose on.

and how much fron norwich to zedwoorld?

if you would like to open you boot faster then why dont you take the weights out the boot lid i think there are two in there!

Its going to resprayed so paint will be new but so far im thinking satin

1st im thinking yokahoma advan ad008 they look the tits 2nd im thinking michelin pilot super sport thirdy pirelli p zero or hancock s1 evo 2 and lastly if im painting the car black should i go for satin or gloss black wheels . cheers

I cant find anyone who sell the outer sills for a ,Yes you guessed it a uk lwb tt. Tried ebay no can anyone help i need them for a couple of weeks time. many thanks.:thumbup:

I have being doing some homework on this with the other thread largest tyre on zed but the last couple days ive been looking and if you go on sites that have only just tested tyres then there only give mostly results on the lastest tyres out there but theres so many more and the price and quality vary so much. this is what i have found thus far. form the top working back im finding this. Michelin pilot super sport.then pirelli p zero then hancock s1 evo 2 then i have put the next three in cas i like these and they are yokamahma advan ad008, shit hot in the dry and look the tits. then toyo proes t1 sport (r888) then the falken 452s a good allround performa with a good price tag.

spoke to my tyre man today and priced up these sizes for me. maxxis 275 35 18 £155 inclusive 265 35 18 £124.80 inclusive. 235 40 18 £103.20 for maxxis and £98.40 for nixxan. good a so i think

do these things when set up, stop your wheels from spinning up on hard throttle?

dont supose it whould just had a silly thought in my head if im going upto 285/35/18 on rear then my silly thought was maybe to bo a little more at front to even things out more..maybe thought if i stick with 235/35/18 at the front then putting 285/35/18 on rear would or could handling issuse ,? dont know.

I have at the moment 235/40/18 on the front and 265/35/18 at the rear but im so temted to go 255/35/18 front and 275 or if tyre man says ok then 285/35/18 rears. I think then still get a bit tyre roll and shouldnt have to touch arches.

somewhere on here i see someones got 285s at the rear will they fit a standard set up on man tt lwb uk

im not a mad man but that said if i use the car and it will be used then i do want them to hold there own and i also dont want to seat at traffic lights spinning and not getting anyware, also i dont mess in the wet to much but will play on a dry day.
