What i did is first asked my insurance company if they would insure mycar as its parked on the private drive at myhouse behind a gate and there online quote wouldnt let me. they came back with yes we can. i then asked if i could get an agreed value for my car, they said yes but there is a fee. i got a quote and they sent the ness paperwork for me to fill in. they did ask if i was a member of a nissan based 300zx club and i said yes a member on here. i got the paper work through filled it out and rote down that i had . then went on to list everything that wasnt standered on my car, down to the paintwork. then they aske for photos one of the interia one each of the engine bay the front the back the nearside and the offside. took these photos on my phone got printed copys from asda and sent them. along with what i fellt the car was worth today if i was to replacement or aquivalent on here. like for like really. sent of that info/form. then waited,oh along wth my 15. 00 admin fee. then waited. two weeks later after someone had looked at all the paperwork and the discription of the car and the guranteed work that i had done ,i got back my letter and the agreed value that i was after. brilliant. the rear end of the 300 behind the bumper can be rottom as you like cas its noy an issue with the mot unless the rear bumper is hanging of but if it is a uk lwb car and the rear end is rusted away then the sills would have gone aswell ,but hey metal can be replaced, as to the engine . no awnsers there im no machanic mate sorry.

when i drive i drive to the conditions of the road. just because theres an natonal speed limit on the rd doesnt mean i drive at 59 mph in that zone . i have got at the moment dodgy shocks so i no i cant speed as i would somtimes like. i do however drive at the speed limit in built up areas and espeacally schools. i also dont overtake on blind bends nor were theres junctions or houses close together cas you never know what comes out pepoles drive ways whilst your on the other side of the rd of witch u are legally entitled to be when driving. always read the road ahead and plan.. C.A.T. on my advance driving course i done years ago. C consertration. A antisiibation and finnaly T for tolerence, be nice guys only kill him if he hurts ur zed.

in the offshore oil and gas industry being to safe is a major killer because people become complacent and complacency is were you do the same thing everyday ,routine , you check then you check again but your so used to checking the same thing, your so used to doing the same thing or doing the same acton so much so your not using your ears or eyes anymore. they recone that when we listen to someone our brains are only taken in about 15 percent of information and thats when we think or tell ourselfs were listening . so to mix it up and keep us on our toes they come up with ongoing ideas and procedures that keep us focused on what we do .

ur tappeta ant going to tick if you had a shunt but some metal stress caused by the rear shunt could of fractured somthing upfrount and now cause a rev relatted tappy noise or ticking if say somthing is now loose

sitting here watching the news talking about the dangers of being on a bike, the fact that deaths and accidents are on the up, and saying they need this other device fitted to warn drivers of thier wereabouts only to cut to some film of local traffic lights where not one not two but three cycles ran solid red lights. i think for a start they should pay more attention to the road and thier spacial awareness and should be charged like anyone else on a bike and in a car. rant over.

Glad you got your car fixed but not so glad about the end result. the bodyshop needs to do a proper job. they know that was never going to match but oviously dont care. the bodyshop gets paid to paint the damaged panel thats had the damage and put it right. you could argue that it is not right. first of, it doesnt matter if they have the correct paint code. the fact that the door has been painted of the car it will never match. the reason for this is metalic paint, in this case, base and clear. the base being the colour ie silver needs to be painted on the car with the door on the car. let me explain, metalic paint is diamond shaped and as it is sprayed it lays at different angles. its these angles as the paint lays down on the surface and the light hit it, that determines the colour and shade.like a prism.if you paint panel to panle it will never match. they need to flick the basecoat into the other panels whem painting a panel never edge to edge then place you clear coat your laqure over the whole area in this cas the side of your car. as like also you cannot paint a bonnet on its owns without flicking the colour over the wings. i hope that makes sence. i told my bloke that painted my car not to paint the doors off the car when he painted my car, but unfortuneately for him he did and now has to paint the whole car again. he remember the conversation that i said espeally with a three stage pearl colour it would never match. my cars going to be stripped down again when it comes back from having the rear end conversion done, at cost to him, he was warned. hope you get it sorted. if it was a astin martin it would never have been left like that so why is it ok to leve yours like that.

could it be that timming unit thing being loose thats moved a little when not tight up properly thus why it run fine for a day then not the next day when cold. and when cold if the timmings out a couple of degrees then this will make it run like a sack of. then until it wams up enough not to make a difference and as for the heater not working for a good while i recon that the cars water level is not right filled up. this may all be wrong of course but seeing you had the water pump done or ment to have, urll proberly find you ant got a thermosate next. hope it works out buddy.

I remember the car mags of the eighties still remember one in particular to date. they were more like soft porn mags in them days. especally street machine and custom car.

Ive got a brake master cylinder brace thing.bit of metal that i bought of someone o here just lying around in my boot.and after the over thread reminded me to fit it now i have sorted my brakes. But i opened my bonnet quickly and thought not to hard . Dont know how it goes on. Heres a pic.dont suppose somone has a pic of one fitted.do they? Cheers

ill be going if i only new what dates im working this year. i had an interview in october found out that i have got the job in november but im still waiting on logistics to give me a date so i can plan my year at the moment i cant plan anything cas i dont know what im working yet so frustrating cas i cant plan anything in the near future. but would like to go as well and its on my doorstep

i have one in my boot but not yet looked to see how it fits . i must do this. rather than seatting on here but its warmer in here.and bloody freezing outside

i just stoped wiyhout taking anything, and in the night i used to just go to bed early when wanting one.
