  1. Brake gentley then  :slap: Had this myself once about 5 years ago when still auto. It turned out to be the TPS. Or if not I think I'd go along with Yampidog.
  2. Welcome Juddhire. I suggest if your going to a meet you start saving now. Thats because once you've seen the standard of some of the club cars and the BHP performance hikes etc you'r going to start spending. I'm a 30K and still counting. But I'm enjoying it again
  3. Well its really strange that all these stories where told to me by Johnny when my car languished there for 11 months. Only all the people who where ripping him of had different names and different mechanics. No Doubt he slated Chris Noonan as being the problem and for ripping him off. Well i know he paid the rent there as well and didn't get paid for 3 months. Which is why he took the Snap-on ramp. which johnny was abliging with yet I heard roumers that he said Chris nicked it and loads of stuff. Lets face it you can pic em up in machine mart for £500. I know those roumers are untrue as do I know that the story of Mark the lad with the silver Z that supposedly had johnny beat up then gave him £5 is untrue. Then of course when a Carbon Carbon clutch and Tommy stroker kit belonging to a customer with a Black 200SX went missing etc it was one of Johnny's ex employees, who he'd be slating for 9 months and claiming he'd ripped him off buy taking £2500 cash from a customer for a job hence sacked, but then Johnny supposedly had let him use his garage over the weekend and he must have nicked em for his 200.  Please. I think that was when Johnny was looking out the round window Then there's the suposedly new clutch he charge me £450 for and the new Flywheel another £400 which Chris Noonan months later said "I wondered why you where having a secondhand clutch?" when I said I didn't he then told me that I had because it came from the car they got that I had the springs and shocks from. I paid Johnny £250 for new Blitz springs £370 for new Koni ajustables too. Its taken A full year and had to replace every part that lying toe rag ever supplied because they weren't new bits apart from springs and shock (changing late this year for Ground control coilovers) as payed for but fooked secondhand crap. Then there are the parts I supplied that never ended up in my car. If anyone here knows where Johnny's old wide arch Zed now resides I would verymuch like to know if it has the same engine number as my missing rebuilt engine with Fordged pistons. Because the one phil a C & S wood took out is not the one I bought and took to GPS, does not have fordged pistons, new belt pullies and shit loads more bits that I supplied for it. I'm lucky they were my Turbo's Oh yes on top of all this durring the first few months my car was there I introduced him to a friend of mine who builds exhaust systems. Johnny had him make a full custom system for a R33 GTR. Special inocol Maniforls to carry the big Porsche Turbo's the full system right to tail pipes. He promised to pay when customer came for his car. He then told Leon that they didn't fit even thogh Leon built it on a R33GTR that belongs to another friend. So leon said no probs I'll come and take mesurement and alter. Johnny said no we've sent them to another work shop to be altered. Rightly so Leon said No you cannot do that and you haven't paid for them I'll come and get them back. He never did, because they weren't there and Johnny would answer thw phone etc. We later found out Hom had sent them to Dubi to have them coppied. Then I still hear people saying well it wasn't Johnny. It was the Greek guy, it was the guy who worked in the office, it was Chris Noolan, it was bla bla. It was his business he was in charge and he told lie after lie to me. If anyones DNA is in Your petrol tank Duffer, I bet it Johnny's. I wouldn't pi55 on Johnny if he was on Fire. The only reason I don't tell Chris Noolan the lying crap I've heard thats been said about him Visa Vee Johnny and Grass Hopper is that I'm sure Chris would Kill him  f
  4. Friggin hell Chris that looks like a Pikey Alert
  5. If they are a Jspec wheel it would proberbly cost more than its worth to get genuine centre caps. You need to get in touch with someone like Image wheels in the midlands. They are a split rim wheel manufacturer and would proberbly be able to make you something cheeper.
  6. Where you live and where you keep your car obviously dictates. I live on a farm and it's 400 yards to the road that is that narrow and windy that you would be stupid to exeed 20mph incase a Tractor (or trackor as they call em round here) is coming round the bend. so it takes me about 3 mins at 2nd gear driving (under 3000rpm before I reach the A road and then Like Legrath I keep her under 300orpm untill my water temp hits 70c. You guys saying this is bad for her if so I'm scoobied, because I have no choice.
  7. A 8.5 J rim is 215mm that means 225 is 10mm bigger than the rim the more over size you go for means more tyre wall movement (hence tramlining) and if you go big enough you can under really hard cornering roll a sufficiently oversized tyre off the rim. Tyre manufacturers will actually secify the rim sizes for their tyres. You;ll find in general they only garentee 15mm under width to 30mm over width. So a 8.5J wheel could legally have tyres 200's to 245's and if you have an accident where someone is hospitalised and your tyres are out of manufacturers spec your insurance will be nul and void. + if someone is killed your looking at Prison for vehiclualer Manslaughter. If your local tyre place say that those sizes are fine for your wheels make sure you get it in writing before they fit em. That way you have a get out of jail card as you have sort Expert opinion. Personally I like to know that what ever is on my car will do the job regardless how hard I drive it. The most fundimental upgraded for your car is the right set of tyres as those bits of rubber are all that keep you on the road and it should be IMO the most important thing to get right.
  8. I wouldn't go for 245's up front if handling is a priority are it will cause quite bad tramlining. I have 235's front ,but purely for handleing 225's are the best.
  9. I'd say eliments of the steel monoc as the depth from roof to door is shorter and door glass to sill is much shorter too. I honestly don't think you could built this from a standard car. It is absolutely gorgous though.
  10. Thats what I thought. A community with a common interest. As members we really should know what is going on, because it's starting more and more to feel less like our club. (which I think is where the old day quotes come from, because it used to) and more like some institution where the management are out of touch with the members and constantly telling us to like it or lump it. I assure You it's not just me many more who I talk to feel the same way Before anyone tells me I'm talking boll*cks then just have a look at the number of threads just like this. Also the number of important people we seem to have lost over the last 2 years. Although most not perminantley, but when and if they do return their imput is greatly deminished. Even more so the number of long standing members who looking but don't bother to post. Yet they still talk to each other. (I know there are other issuses that are the cause) We need a place where we the members get a say and a vote. We the members (because it is our club. Without us there is no club regardless what moderators say) need to be able to have a say and use the poll feature to vote. The Trouble causers will become transparent and either go away, get shunned or tow the line. The mods do a job that many here would not, but I ask the mods, all of you. To ask yourself if you have the enthusiasum needed for the job. I understand it is often a thankless task and most of us really appreciate what you do, but to remove someone like Chunk who certainly did have the drive seems very counter productive. Let face it he's not gone cos he didn't want to do the job did he? Otherwise he wouldn't be doing what he's doing and everyone that steps down or chooses to abstain from our community wouldn't all be saying the same thing. Would they?? Yours Totally sick of the imature shit stiring and petty Bitching
  11. you'd need spacers. My fronts are 25 offset on a 8.5J and rears 30 offset on a 10J and that really fills the arch out, but such a big offset on a narrow wheel may even foul the front calippers. The certainly would be lost inside the wheel arch.
  12. MJP has them in all the time.
  13. You mean you only just realised? After all these years? Man you really were pissed at JAE.
  14. Its the kind of thing you do Chris, but the rest of us would call the green flag. Mind you just think its a story he can dine out on for years and now the Beeb have imortalised it for all those wagers he's going to win.
  15. 5.0ltr N/A V8 Nissan mmmm i'm sure someone saide something about a 5.0ltr ZX cough cough J.D. being ready this year. :slap:
  16. BMW drivers :smash: BLOODY MINDED W@NKERS. I travel 37 miles to work and the same back obviously. Every time I go in my Zed I get subject to Road rage. I drive just as fast in my C70 T5 and even in my pickup. Though it takes longer to get Ton +, but I never experience road rage from other divers when I'm not in my Zed. Other day as I got on the 483 at rhe Ruabon junction. Its where 2 normal single carriage way A roads merge. As i'm coming in from the left obviously I have to give way to traffic from my right. All the lories and slow stuff are trying to get into the left lane and i'm trying to get in the right. Right indicator on nice flow to traffic and a huge space that I could slip into. just about to move over when 3 series BMW accelerates and slams anchors on about 2 ft behind car I was going to drop in behind. Basically just to shut the door and stop me getting in. I just pulled my sarcastic thankyou very much face and the guy behind flash me in and mouthed B M W. I nodded and carried on. About a mile up the road (its all dual carriageway from the merger for 15 miles) I start to go past the BMW. It weaves violently in and out of my lane a copple of times trying to bauk my progress. then lets me past. The Driver (a ugly woman about mid 20's is making guestures of her playing with her small boyfriend) skreaming you fooking w@nker.  Second similar situation in a week
  17. I was just about to say 7ft tall long ginger haired Zed less blokes called Mike who parashoot into the forum with stupid polls as though they'd never been away. Then I noticed the date. I really miss Herman he was a good laugh.
  18. Lurvley http://www.modelenium.co.uk/models/Nissan-350Z-GT500-Super-GT-Xanavi-2005-red--EBB43687.aspx
  19. If the 350Z looked like that I'd have had one some time since. I've seen the models of these 350Z GT500's and thought thats proberbly what the designer desighed. Not the part nizzan hut part citren Diane thing we got on the roads.
  20. Window on door needs realinement then. Or you put em on wrong or you've got a twisted monocock
  21. Get new Targa seals from Mike Feeney at MJP. Mine cost about £140 for both complete OEM Nissan seals. Start at the wing and go up the door pllar round the targa and finish round by yhr back of the door opening. Time to fit about 10 minutes for first one then 2 minutes for second one cos you now know what ya doing. Forget peanut oil and stuff and forget about leaks for the next 10 years
  22. Too many of us Marks near Wrexham. I don't have Marks Email ,but I know Matt will have so I'll send the pics and your address on to him Leigh. That another Wrexham Autocraft job. Run by my other mate Lee.
