  1. Your Zed is among a few out there that are starting to convince me that the standard car just lowered and some nice wheels is the best way to go for pure looks. Though I'm not keen on the standard or the 99 spec front bumper.
  2. I have the Garret GT2860RS which look identical to the JWT530's and they had no discernable lag when I originally had ported standard Mainfolds. Since the MS manifolds were fitted you don't get any lag, but it has less bottom end grunt and more push over over 4500 rpm. So you really should think about what you want from your car before you throw stuff on it. I think I prefered the standard manifold as the power delivery was smooth right through the rev range with grunt right from the off. (maybe because its been so wet) The MS deliver a real noticable difference at the top end and it will fish tail at 90 when you floor it in 3rd.
  3. Standard Mirrors look better, function better and go with the lines of the car. Can't stand all these wings bonnets nose pannels and mirrors with holes everywhere. The cars end up looking like something out of Stingray, Thunderbirds or Flash Gordon.
  4. Thats cheating though Alex because your interior is nothing like a standard Supra. Is IT? It's all hand stiched leather even the doorcards are really well sculpted and peiced together & your Supra is newer yet again. Now play fair.
  5. Yep I know how slow I was sliding along at when I did this. Problem with tree's is they are solid, don't have a crumple zone and just like my wife won't budge for no one http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=98235&highlight=red+dead
  6. Well tunable lump those Volvo T5's and nobody in the UK really does anything with them even though there is a proper Volvo RICA autherised tunner and parts supplier in the Midlands. I thought about dropping on into a Zed. The Works RICA Volvo's that did the touring cars were knocking out real silly HP.
  7. Silly boy :slap: I have Three Titanium Keys with my Blue UK car, but all 3 Jspec SWB's I've had have only got the keys with the black plastic bit.
  8. It's the radiator bit I picked up on??? If you get it for £1K to £1.5K it may be a good buy if you want a wide arse.
  9. Sounds like a normal day for me these days. Get well soon and hope little girl is feeling much better.
  10. AH litow girwl of Yapanee perswayjohn
  11. Now thats not nice Leigh. Besides which the Gibson SG is based on the general femal form with it's sumptuous curves and narrow waist. I thought that was real good playing for a girl (I'm not fooking sexist its just there are very few decent female guitarists). I have a theory that you don't see her face because she looks like this
  12. Ever Thought of getting a SWB NA. I'm made up with mine and I enjoy driving it without any worries just like I used to with my TT before it went pop. The difference is another NA lump might cost £500 max and a day to swap over. Where as the TT I spend all my time monitoring gauges and listening for any new noise. Then I relax and give it a nailing and then worry like a worrying thing that It's going to cost me another £45 million to fix. Its so much easier this NA thing and still fun.
  13. My £1500 SWB NA rev's to 8500 rpm and aparently the guy I got it off said its always done so and he had it 2 years. I've had it since August and it's still alive and hitting 8500rpm at least once or thrice or more times a day. I don't know anything about the car other than the ECU has been wibbled and assume it still has stock internals
  14. They are part of the Wings West Kit I believe as the only other place i've seen them is on the Wings West 300zx. So someone who deals with there kits should be able to help. I think i've seen them on http://www.z32.com, but not certain.
  15. Toyota's are generally bullet proof so are Nissan's. I dont like the look of the Supra, but the TT is a nice drive and is very similar to a Z TT in performance and handling. I've never driven a Supra mkIV NA though, but THE Zed NA is a brill car to drive so you really need to test em both.
  16. Yep More profit for fewer people. Well scarey. Did you check out that walking timberjack as well? It's like a frigging big bug that munches trees.
  17. Don't like either of em Myself. Second one makes it look like the old 8 Series BMW Coupe. Never liked them much either.
  18. Who'd want the Strosek bumpers though
  19. Execelant! Thats another nugget of information for me to store and get mixed up in future..
  20. Hi Eric Are the Arches priced there SWB or 2+2? (don't know why and I'm proberbly wrong but i thought Strosek only made wide arches for SWB) Also they are much cheeper than they used to be
  21. It sounds like the gearbox cooler is leaking into the rad. It look very nice and clean. A good starting point. That spoiler is really nice and suits the car. Well not really but i like to get Si going.
  22. Yep besides having a finish as smooth as Lake Windermere at a Jet ski tornement the copies also never follow the proper lines of the wheel arches, are more dramaticly bulbus, need 5 x 5ltr of plastic putty to sort of fit and generally look pants. I say I don't like the Strosek kit, because most people in the UK are actually talking about the various (I use the word lossely) copies which from the shape of them are copies of a Paul Bailey copy rather than the genuine Strosek. The real deal is far more subtle in shape, realy do think the bumpers are well dated these days.
  23. You can move the expantion tank to behind the wheel arch instead of in front and bring the filler cap kneck up through the hole in the inner wing by the battery. This coupled to the Charcoal cannister removal lets air flow freely through your intercoolers. You can also move the washer bottle to the same placle on the other side, but there is a bit more plumbing to do shifting the wiper relays and stuff.
  24. That'll fix easy enough as other have said. What I want to know is, is that dick Whitington on the Way to the Panto in the background? :slap: Nice pins anyway.
  25. Try the x flow centre section to lift the pitch and Brian Adams is sound mate. P.S. does it say DILIGAF on ya Tshirt. If not why not?
