Honestly I can drive my car almost as hard in the wet as I can in the dry. The S03's have the edge in the dry ("just", and still better than anything other than the S02 in the wet) but the S02 is king in the rain. The only time you'll loose it in the dry is when you want to. In the wet its like driving a car with 180 BHP not 350+. You ajust to the conditions there isn't any big moments. Like I say I've had 100,000 experience about 60% on Bridgestones out of choice. There the best all round. Yokahoma's are the best Dry tyre I think, but well scarey in the rain. Avons are just scarey Dunlop Sports should be banned from existance and make Avons look good. I put a set on the car on the Tyre fitters recomendation that they were brilliant the next day I took em off and put S002's on. Pirrelli's and Pilots are on parr and need some heat into them before they work well. Not bad tyre and good ride but not in Bridgestone leauge for grip and ride. Ventura K104 sport are cheep and offer reasonable grip wet and dry but shit ride quality and easy to unsettle car. GOt to be Bridgestone. S02 is now a Porshe standard fittment.

They originally came with Bridgestones. In 100,000 miles I've gone through a few sets and even replaced one set the day after buying them because they were cr@p. I've Tryed Perrellis, Yokohomas, Avons Mitchelin Pilots, Bridgestone So2's and So3's and always go back to Bridgestone So2's. They will transform your car and they last longer than most. Everyone tell you this tyre's best etc so I've tried a few. So2's for me they're the best for feed back and grip, wet or dry and I drive like a hoare.

That'll be a big Mac then :shock: I gave up smoking in January and put on 2 stone, but I've started running and its disapearing and i'm feeling much better for it. So stick with it. By the way mtl if he's that heavy you could kick him and leg it. He woun't catch ya :tongue: and if he does you just explain it for his own good. ;)

I've had mine for 4yrs in August. It was a low millage U.K. auto. Only mods it had were induction boost and exhaust. I used it as my everyday motor and clocked up an average 33,000 miles a year with no major problems. However I did service her every 4,000 miles. Car has been of road now almost 12 months and its easier to say that the only thing I haven't change is the interior, yet. Then I'm hoping to get another 120,000 out of her before the next rebuild. I'd also like to add that when I bought my car I looked at about 15 before I got mine. There is some real cr@p out there, but at meets I've been to the quality of this clubs member cars is very high. If you are going to buy get one from here. Have seen Cos's motor and can say it a good one with out fear of contradiction. I'm sure scoops is too. P.S. what I've spent on my car this year, I could have bought cos's motor 5x's over. It all depends on how far you want to go.

I've got the Greddy from Smithy however like everything. Once you do something you find out that you could have got the same thing cheeper. (Don't get me wrong Smithy is a fantastic Guy and has help me loads and i wouldn't here a bad word said about him his prices are better than most for Named Brands) However i've found somewhere who makes them to what ever spec you want and does a copy of the Blitz which is stunning and a mere fraction of the price. + the same flow rates. He's just made my New SS rad. If you looking for power you really need to think what you want. + 360 to 400 bhp at the wheel is about as much as you'll ever be able to use. So unless your going drag racing there's no point. If you tweek the standard Tubs they won't last neither do the pistons unless you can eliminate denting completely. So decide where your going before you start throwing you money about. Speak to John Dixon. His motor was dinoed at about 370bhp at the wheel completely stock apart from one of his chips and a boost controller. The man knows his onions. Its not just a case of bolt bits on and away you go. + Most people talk about 600bhp etc let me tell you a true 400 ish at the wheels is awsume and will get you into plenty of trouble unless you can really drive.

Good Tyres Better Brakes Remove Hicas Ploy bush kit New springs and shocks Better Rad Even a totally standard TT will cook the brakes. In that order. A good standard car will be a real pleasure to drive with the above. All the other Thousands of pounds we spend is all personal taste.

I'm having my own design made. They'll be as wide but cleaner fresher lines. Thats not until next year though because all my money has gone on recon and hybridised motor, Tubs, coolers, Rad, box and steering and suspension. Next year finish body and Retrim. :hyper:
