  1. FFS Girls lets stop the hair pulling. Mind you lets face it AdamR has more than most to pull. I agree with scoops. I come on here for a laugh as well as the good help and info on the other topic pages. If your read any of the Technical questions you will see that people can be senssible and sober as well as windup merchants. Even Duffers (well maybe I'm going too far now) I'm not a drag strip junky or a MR 2 Queen, infact the thousands i've been ploughing into my car are to make it handle on the twisty's, because I'm hard :D . A sort of 4 wheel caf'e racer and MR 2's are pritty nibble competition for a standard Z (so as not to brake the lady's finger nails), but not on the streights and Supera's are a good car. They're just godam UGLY, but I've nothing against em. So come on and chill. ANYONE FANCY A GAME OF HOP SCOTCH :hyper:
  2. Congratulations I'm glade to hear all are doing well. If you think your knackered now just wait till the little mollusc as been home for 6 months. You won't know what day it is. The up side is their is nothing in the world will give you as much pride either as a child. Its just like owning a Z. At times its the best thing in the world and other times you wish you could just get shut ,but your too deeply committed. Well you should be. Enjoy the ride.
  3. Just wondered if Pete's Missus has produced yet?
  4. Maybe she said "round head"?
  5. Urica, at f***ing last it's stop rainning. So instead of being hot, clammy and wet. It's now hot, clammy, sunny and sticky. I blame all that Indian food we're all eating. The gas it creates causes the heavy over cast conditions. If you don't believe me just look at India :slap:
  6. :nono: :nono: Some hats fit others won't sit Did you tell them the kit was picked up at Woodstock :slap:
  7. I should have my car back before then so I may be there with motor. I 'd be up for putting it on the stand as she is very tidy and i only live about 20 min's away.
  8. My youngest accually incerted our cat (when a kitten) into a playmobile boat whilst having a bath. The kitten was frantic and tried to escape through a porthole just big enough for its head to go through but, not quite big enough or its head to past back through. The cat was saved while experiencing a storm at sea and had to be cut free from the boat. Needless to say even to this very day (8yrs on) the cat will attack my youngest at any given oppertunaty.
  9. Very interesting stuff. I think these American chaps are very informative and have a more technical aproach to the whole issue of extrating the best from our beloved Iron. I thought wider tyre with less wall. It may be better for driver control and feed back on the windys, but not dragging. We should invite some of these guys over for billing next year. To give a talks. All the best ideas are nicked.
  10. I used to Race motor bikes in the Formula 5 production bike league and our bike club had its own Race track at a place called Fluckborough on the edge of the lakes near Barrow. Would anyone be interested in me finding out if they still own it and if we could use it etc.
  11. Basically as Pete says. Most have been poorly looked after and can cost shed loads to get right. When their sorted, providing you keep up to em they are faily reliable. If you get a good one in the first place you'll be OK if you've bought a Lemon then it won't belong before the bank manger become a close friend.
  12. One of my mate wives said it was like having someone do the washing up in her tummy. I've got three kids all came naturally but just hold her hand, mop her brow, say encouraging things and don't pass out. wish her best of luck and don't worry mate you'll get used to being a dad. My eldest lad was at billing with me sups like a good'n. Just ask Adam R and Hermy.
  13. I had a NEW Nissan Patrol SE Touring 2.8 TDI and thrash that every day. :D You needed a mile of clear road to instigate a overtaking manover. Had Calibra Turbo, Rover 220T, Montego sssh EFI Turbo ( it was well fast) and a RS Works 1600 Mexico that weeed all over RS2000's and lots of motor bikes, but just always liked the look of the Z.
  14. I just love that front end Who makes it and where can I get one. The doors are a waste of money and not practical. Just gimicky, but THAT FRONT BUMPER MMMMMM YUM YUM.
  15. Putting cheque in post with office mail Today.
  16. Cheers mate and thanks but I've got a complete TT setup. Its just that I've prepped the NA subframe, Poly bushes, camber kit, ajustable rear tie bars etc. So i'm going to go with the NA and see how it goes. I think I'll do the TT setup peace meal just in case. I've also ended up with a stock TT engine (no tubs), a manual TT box all extra so I'm giong to maybe fettle em as back ups. Well you know Z's
  17. Hay Baggins!! Gess what? You were right mate the centres of the mounting bushes are 12mm wider on the TT :mac1: + they have already installed my bush kit into the NA subframe. So today i'm mostly having a NA subframe insalation. OOOPPS I'll get the TT subframe sorted and have it all ready with new bushes for when the NA goes pop. Mechanically I've got the same set up as Chris C so I'll proberbly have too much power for the NA diff. I'm sure it'll be good fun until it goes pop. So we now know for sure.
  18. Yep there is a gun matal grey import around Chester with a guy about 50 in it. Looks at you as though you've insulted him. Women are a ignorant breed on the whole, because they're so busy wrapped up in themselves. They only drive nice cars to be seen in, as a rule and not by men ,but other women. Its better not to try and fatheme the workings of the female mind or you'll end up as batty as them. :slap: :nono:
  19. Its not cheap it America and thats slightly over priced. It only this country and Northern Italy that is really expensive.
  20. The little fella is saying "Jeesuss Vinz his dick almost sticks out as much as your Adam's apple" The big fella is saying "Cheers mate, you know I work out and every fing"
  21. Mot as much as me
  22. Obviously the prop shafts are 4 bolt instead of 6 on the NA, but the shaft is of a lighter construction as well. The diff Gearing is lower and I'm not sure about the Drive shafts though I'll give them the once over. However the NA & TT diff apear fit into the subframe in exactly the same way. + I too spoke to quite a few people on the US sights and was told what i'm telling you, + that it is not only possible, but has been done. As I've never done this personnally before, nor do I personnally know of anyone who has done it. I'm following my own judgement and a little leap of faith. If I'm wrong and its not a straight fit I'll keep you posted. However I'm hoping your wrong, but if its me then HICAS eliminator bar here I come. It will have cost me the price of having all the bushes pressed out of the NA frame as well, but its got to be worth a go. So I'll know by this afternoon.
  23. Which only goes to proves my point that we needed badges on people as well as the cars. I would have said thanks because my mum brought me up that way, but if I fell over you in the street I would not know you or connect you to your car. So I'm telling you "told you so" and a belated Thanks
  24. I thought Stue said down pipes not manifolds?
  25. ??????? Go on then why?   Because the TT diff fits the NA subframe and The NA looks like it would go into the TT Subframe infact the look the same castings. The props are different and may be the Drive shafts but ??? Please I 'm interested because I just used a TT in a NA subframe.
