I think the answer to how much will it cost to recon a Z300 TT I assume is thats the wrong question. 1st what do you want out of you car. If its standard power and reliability then API will sell you a low millage import emgine for £1495. It will have new big end and main bearings, Rings, pistons also if needed, new cam bearings valve seats and stem seals, timing pullys and New timing belts. A rock solid motor. If your looking for a beefier lump then i'll say realistically you can start a £2,500 up wards + turbos + fitting + oil etc Contra to what people say on this forum. To have a proper Z you either buy a very good one and look after it or dig deep and sort it They are not a cheep supercar by any stretch of imagination

Weren't we all told that Speed Cameras were to prevent accidents on accident black spots? IF I remember rightly that is the only reason they were given approval in the first place, because human rights groups claimrd that they were an infringement of human rights. So can anyone tell me how, if police can site a camera with sufficiently clear a view as to be able to take a picture of you from a mile away how could this constrewed a accident blackspot. If you can see clearly for a mile surely the car and driver skills should determine what is a safe speed. There is always a third and possibly an even safer way that will teach people some race craft, measure skill levels as initially everyone will be using the circuits kart/cars, then people can be grouped as per skill levels and let out on the curcuit in there own cars. It could be organised at a proper major curcuit that has Race schools. It would be a full day event and cost about £200 to £250 Mid week during summer or similar price of season. ie sh1t weather. If you get enough takers then you know who's safe for the next event You can coun't me in for any reasonably organised event. Or even have a meet at Llany Gors Outdoor Gokart curcuit. 80mph with your arse 2" of the ground feels very quick and its all down to driver skill not bigger turbos etc. This is a proper FIA championship Curcuit, infact the best in the country

My experience of Race Tracks is that any event where Jo public can just arrive and drive is just looking for trouble. Every body and his dog think they are good drivers and the sad truth is only about 5% actually are and of that 5% only 5% are really good. A friend of mine owns a outdoor Gokart circuit and used to allow owner drivers to use it on Sunday mornings. FFS all you got was the events of Idiotcy found with arrive and drive, but faster and more dangerous. Most people don't hav a clue about car control. Proper events were people are graded by skill levels and the nutters weeded out I think are great. Arrive and collide (arrive and Die) defo not. P.S. I think I'm a good driver, but some days I think what I did was stupid. Then again it cost too much to get devorced :rofl: :rofl:

Hi Pete Listen it only metal and that can be staightened and so far you've had half a car donated. So here's my contribution as well. I've just bought a Red bonnet in mint nick of Johnny a grasshopper. I was going to luvre it and paint it the fastes colour which of course is blue, but if you want it and Duffers will let me have the gray one then its yours. At this rate you'll be back on the road before me :D

Will have a perfectly good auto Box (UK) and all asociated bits if you need one.
