Jessue 18.5K I aint in that league I was looking to spend 5-7K in the autume on the engine and engine bay as i've got some money coming in October. I'm also looking a modest gains around 400bh ATW and reliability. Shit always happens at the wrong time. I will have to see wether the engine is cooked first before I deside wether or not to rebuild it or get a different lump and rebuild that. I'm not putting anything back in unless its bullet proof. Killed my car on Saturday. Just headed off to the village which is about 2.5 miles away. I floored it to pass a line of cars and crunch grined pissshh and loads of yuky noises clouds of steam. More like Thomas the tank than a Z. i suppose I've done OK really as I've done over 90,000 miles in the last 3 years running at 1 bar and no mechanical problems. Just well pi55ed of and in ned of a new engine. :cry: :cry: :cry:

Well This morning it sounded really crap and a metalic ish sound from round about the O/S turbo them CRACK!! one of the coolant hoses plit and fired coolant everywhere. seriously pi55ed off any one got any Ideas. Does anyone think its related. :cry: :cry:

He's made a systems for a few people I know with performance motors + a few bike exhaust systems and racing frames too he and his Dad are bl**dy highly skilled crafts men.

Proper Plan and if you by a T5 Volvo they still go like hot snot and only need servicing every 9,000. Cam belt evert 90,000 and Indestructable Mitsubishi Turbo. Down side is thet handle like shit :D

Adam I wouldn't know. I'm completely lost with all this Techno stuff and Dave never gave me a Manual for the boost controler. If it was just mechanical like in the olden day I'd be able to fix it :confused:

Leon is a top bloke if you want his number I'll PM you it. The day before he did John's Bazooka he was making manifolds for Turboprop Aircraft. And people here are worried about his manifolds :rofl: :rofl:

They came from the Zcentre, They were the first to come off prodution and maybe the quality has improved, but I had to cut all the backs of mine and remake them so the lights fitted properly. also the front face you see was all shapes and I had to machine them back so much that in some places I had to strenghten the face. Then I gave them a skin of filler and rubbed em down for priming. I am contemplating making them in Ally so they'd be sharper and fit perfect. If enough people where interested I could get a production run so they'd be a proper fit and water tight without having to glue the thing in with sealer. The lenses I painted so that they looked the part. Deemon Tweeks sell the lenses and it might be easier to make your own pannels.

Regardless what I do i can not get more than 0.4 ish bar boost. It feels like it is being choked. Was running car at 0.9 bar. Car has Apexi boost controler and induction, mongoose Exhaust. It has how ever been in a body shop for 9 months most of the time with no bonnet, front bumper and N/S wing. They've been moving it around and proberbly put any old petrol in it and had it Idling. Do you think the Cats may have collapst. Any other Idea's Help :cry:
