  1. I think most people go for the 99spec because its a conservertive move and its about the cheepest bumper you can get. Like you I think most of the veilside bumpers and skirts are a bit wild and wacky not complementing the lines of the car at all. However my bumper started life as a Veilside bumper and I have to say that the quality of Genuine Veilside products is fantastic. The only kits I know that have no imperfections and look smooth and not ripply and dimpully. They fit without modification, need no prep prior to painting Thus saving you £££££'s at the body shop. They are also so fine and light yet so much stronger than any other kits I've seen. I know There are lots of stuff about that is cheeper, but beleive me to get it to look good takes that much prep and filler etc that they end up costing more.
  2. I think it is more likely that their over heating problems are due to crappy standard rads, fans that arn'tup to the job, or most common thing I've seen is the new Pacett wired up to the original elecy fan switch :nono: You must use a good thermo prob and switch. You must also have the fan run through a relay switch so as not to cause voltage drops every time it switched in. I have a 21" Pacett in a custom made Rad and when it kicks in if your stood infront of the car You get sucked in and minsed
  3. Yes the outer ring is too bright for tail lights and was designed by Heller as Stop lights. I desided that I wanted them as tail lights so I had them painted with red lacker until we got the correct light reading. (Apparently tail lights have a maximum and minimum light reading. As do stop and Fog lights) The Guys at the body shop sorted it. If you look at the picture below you will see that there is an inner light to each outer. Starting from the lights closest to the wheels I have used them as indicators, next ones in as brake (remember I have high level and tailgate brake lights) and the inner ones are reverse (I also converted these to accomodate H3's as I live in the sticks and converting a couple of barns so you need to see where your reversing. Just incase anyone has left the JCB or pallets of bricks etc in the wrong place. Then in the vent at the bottom of my bumper you can see two reflectors Which are also my rear fog lights P.S. the challet you can see has been my home for quite some time until the first barn is finished this summer. It is known by all who come to it as the pooshest shed in North Wales :D
  4. I have a set that i bought from courtesey and never used because I replaced the engine loom. You can have em for £30. Give me a pm with ya details.
  5. I bet you carn't get the correct Nissan injector connectors and if you use the wrong ones you will have a crap signal (ie wrong impeedance, week voltage or a signal affected by damp or heat) and will have poor injector flows. Which could fook your engine.
  6. Pacett or Kenlow do fan kits. If you get onto Deemon Tweeks they can supply you with a thermo probe/switch which sits in you to hose and you can pre set the temp that the fan kicks in.
  7. Yes I got them from Luke. I think I had his first set and they weren't that great a fit. Took a lot of shaving and sanding and even cutting the backs of the get the lights to sit properley, but no great shakes. The outer lenses are too bright to be used as tail lights unless like me you have them painted with dark red laquer. Finallt yes you have to cut the pannel strengtheners and I welded new curved ones in.I
  8. SWB and LWB are just the same sub frame for NA just shorter props. The Same goes for the SWB & LWB TT. As regard the NA diff being the same as the diff on the Skyline and 200sx I couldn't tell you. I stick to passing on what I know and especially what I've tryed and tested. Just a thought. If you have access to part numbers you can check out the drive shaft No's and the Diff No's. Also remember the Skyline GTR's are 4x4 which means that not all the power is pushed through the rear drive and so it is quite feasable that they are the same.
  9. If there is a train service to Cologne the that sound fine to me. Go for it.
  10. Hey Leigh whats happened to your Journal and how far alone are you and JD with the transplants and all your customisation. Yep Dunk I've also had the JD "you don't need that experience" filled a whole dust bin with the crap. He's a bit of a star and a really sound guy taboot.
  11. Or you can take a wheel nut down to Halfrauds and they will mesure the seat angle and size and supply you with a nice set if McGaurd's
  12. You've never been to Hungary or Japan Then? also get into the sticks in Romania and the Cetz republic and you'll find a different senario. + The women there have waistes, good figures, nice skin and generally look like women instead of the fat bellied mongers this country has to offer.

Sorry thats boll*cks The Arab News paper daily have pictures of George Bush and Tony Blare either bumbing each other or children. One cartoon had Jesus on the cross sucking a Roman soldiers C*ck. These are funning in their eyes and it was as a result of the prefusion of these images and the constant jubes of "we are a peaceful people but if you do anything we don't like we'll kill you". If we do not stand for freedom of speech, if we cannot discuss the fears of our people in the west. Then its already too late I feel very much as Dave8uk. I too felt proud when I saw all my fellow Brits of all creeds waving the flagg and cheering for England. Surely they were proud too. So where are they and why are they not asking for our help to get rid of these sick Zelots. I thought most of these people came here (and were welcomed) to escape the intollerent ragiems that persecuted them in there home lands. So they could live safely in peace and tolerance. Surely the decent tollerent British Muslems (I know some of them and know they are out there) cannot stand by and let the same biggoted Zelots that chased there farthers here take control. They must reach out to the rest of us and get rid of the rotten apples I know I'm not prepare to see my children live be enslaved to Fanatics.
  14. The important thing is look at as many as you can. There is an awefull lot of neglected sh1te out there. As for UK cars being rustyer etc I can only speek from my own experience and tell you that the worst car I've ever seen for rust was a Jap import and the cleanest I've seen was a black 1990 UK spec car. It is true that there are a lot of rubbish UK motors but get yourself alone to a local 300zx meet and look at the standard of the cars. You'll soon realise how rubbish most of the cars out there are. If you can get a car from an established member here you'll have a good chance of getting a good one. Have a look at cars for sale and there rides sections
  15. Nelson MainFella I think the way women behave these days is more to do with the liberalised society of today. Where every womens magazine tells them how to get more, be self gratified etc. Its comercially driven politically correct, so called "female empowerment". People of my generation call it an excuse for being a slag. It's got nothing to do with biological stategy, but lots to do with Lesbian and Omosexual lobby groups and M.P's etc that want there cake and get it eaten. If I was ever in the market for a permenant female partner I wouldn't look in the U.K. If I want a fook no questions asked I go out in the UK on a day of the week ending in Y. If I wanted love I'd look at Hungary, Romania, Poland or the Cetz republic and even Japan or Tialand where they've been brought up to respect the man as the head of the household. I'm sorry MarkGSI, but I have to agree with the coments about lying and cheeting. People who have secrects are keeping you at a distance and serving there own needs. If you're going to settle with someone you need to know what each other are about and that you are certain you can rely on them. Otherwize Mr dowt will get in you head and knaw your brains away while shes bleeding your Bank acount and valuable time you could be spending with someone who apreciates you and not sucking your lifes blood. Ditch the Bitch. P.S. Nelson when I was younger (maybe where I come from) You'd shagg birds that had boyfriends or husbands. + You listen sympathetically to there excuses as to why they were after a bit of stange. Just to ease there gilt so you could nail em, but go out with em NO.
  16. Beleive me Mick it is much easier the second time round.
  17. Too much work. Different lenght and diameter drive shafts, mounting in totally different place, hole for rear of TT diff to peek through sub frame too big for NA diff + completely different prop unions. You'd be better to get the whole NA sub frame, diff, prop and drive shafts. Remember though, unless you strenghten the shafts and the diff. 400bhp is the max they'll take. NA's don't have HICAS and the whole assembley is much lighter.
  18. Get em out as often as possible. I'm not racist so dark or light my only preferance is form and size. Got to be pert and not too big.
  19. I cannot see why not, but make sure you get a reputable engine shop to do the rebore, balance the crank and match the bearing shells. I personally would get them to incert the pistons and rings into the barrels for you, with the rods attached to the pistons. Then build top to bottom instead off the other way round. Your going to need a good engine stand. Partco had some nice heavy duty stands for about £40 not long back. Just remember to take your time and ensure that you keep every thing spotlessely clean are the smallest bit of crap can ruin a barrel or a shell bearing.
  20. 1 X Twin room at all destinations Please. Oh and Chris aka (mines twinturbo) if you ring mistress is there then I'd be up for a few coached laps.
  21. To acheive that kind of power with standard 370 injectors you'll need a very agressive chip, a good boost controller (ie Apexi, Greddy profec), Good induction kit, new hoses to provent leaks under added boost, Clean and polish your throttle bodies, a decat exhaust system, upgraded IC's would help and forget the carbon coated discs. Go for the Smithy big brake convertion, because even 340bhp will take you one step beyond what your standard brakes will handle. No point sorting your car to park it in a ditch. Good luck and have fun
  22. I think they are a nice looking wheel, but not for the Z. Whould look nice on my C70
  23. Really nice to here she's out and about. Well chuffed for ya. how long before she's run in? What did she feel like? Ya know do the gears feel a bit short is she nice and smooth etc. Must have more info.
  24. There was Slick top SWB versions of that Too and a factory wide arch (body) infact I think that was the slick top SWB Z31 model. The only one in my opoinion that actually looked good. I even know where there is a complete shell with all glazing doors the lot in good nick. No engine or running gear as the guy was going to install a Chevy and never got round to it.
