I've got both and while you can get a fair amount in the back of a 350Z, two golf bags, tents bags etc for a weeks trip but the strut brace does get in the way of anything reasonably sized and the 300 is ...er more practical!! Now there's something you wont hear many people say about a 300! If your serious about a 350 then i suggest getting hold of one for a few days and trying it out. As much as i love mine i won't get rid of the 300. It still puts a smile on my face.

Can someone explain to me the difference between standard strut and spring set up and coilovers and what works best? I have Tein on the car at present, low and bloody firm and can't decide wether to keep it that way.... great on decent roads and cornering.....but boneshaking on the crap country roads and a cause of nodding dog syndrome on the motorway! It's a second car so I don't spend hours in it and i think my thoughts on changing it are a little clouded by the great ride of my 350Z on standard set up. Might be better to throw the money at better brakes first!

Just had my renewal through from Houghtons....£693 !!!! second car limted mileage. It cost me £480 to insure my 350Z full comp for every day use! Need to ' Negotiate ' but Any other ideas?

i have this problem too...sounds awful but goes after ashort time. Do the gaskets need replacing?

Will hopefully make it. Down for the weekend with 15 other people and off to Exeter races on way down to start weekend. Assuming I dont do myslef in by sunday lunch time will be there! If you see a silver 350 Z looking lost it will be me! The 300 is staying in the garage for the weekend with a horrendously squeely belt ..not to ention it will cost my twice as much to get there :rofl:

The hazard lights on my 350Z won't stop flashing. have tried alarm, interior switch, key fob, disconnected battery, even replaced battery and the things just keep flashing. got a toad alarm on it but it seems to work finie still. lights stop flashing when key is in ignition and it fires up fine and drives. sson as i turnit off ans take key out it starts flashing again :headvswal Any ideas anyone?

As I'm in the area that weekend I'll try to come along as it's about time I met some other zedders. Might be in the 350z though, hope nobody minds!

Need dipped headlight bulb for J spec asap. Where can I get them? assume i cant pick one up from Halfords or similar?

Thanks all, sounds like the twin bracket is needed as thats whats been ordered by the sound of things. I'll mention the intercooler ducts but sounded like bracket was the real issue.

Body shop have advised they cant fit the 99 spec front to my 92 import. The mount does not line up at all with the new bumper and they have had to order new mount from nissan after discussing it with them. Anyone come across this problem before? I always thought it was straight replacement.

Getting the Z back after several weeks away. Have had all the mechanical bits done and 60k service done. New front 99specbumper, zenon rear bumper, sides blended and de swaged, tailgate skin added and re sprayed with 99 spec rear lights added. Have a few exterior trim bits to do but getting ready to re trim the interior and would like to see some pics of what other people have done as I really cant decide which way to go!

Yes I would be interested in option 3. How does this compare to standard set up? Does this have any effect on the ABS ?

Must be a windows out and engine bay etc job judging by that price. £1300 sounds very good. Thats kind of what i was expecting.

Having 99 spec front bumper, new rear bumper and tailgate skin fitted so asked for quote for full respray and was told £4000 incl VAT :shock: Have i missed something ?!!!! Surely that must mean every bit of paint on the car! Anyone elsoe had a full respray? what was to cost? Ta

Seems I have a small coolant leak, thinks it looks like water pump... how can i check how much coolant has been lost ? need to top up and get in to be repaired.
