  5. uk have wider rears that sit flush with the body, makes quite a bit of difference looks wise.
  6. The car ya fool! Very kind people on this forum are trying to help me out with a spare injector as this may..or may not be the root of evilness that has had my car giving me the two finger salute..did wash it today though!
  7. me n my lady ain`t talking! lol
  8. so how do you adjust it?
  9. Thanks Dan, will bear you in mind. I must say i`m feeling quite warm inside at all the generosity being offered by my fellow club members so a big thank you to you all!
  10. Exactly, that`s what a club should be about! Yeah it`s a bugger it being duff, was so excited at the prospect of maybe solving the problem too.
  11. Cheers Jeff, that confirms that one then, will advise Stu to check the rest of his spares.
  12. As above really, After seeing my plight he`s very kindly sent me an injector to compare against my own dodgy reading one. So once again THANKS STU! Top club spirit!!
  13. Hi all! Sussex Stu has very generously sent me an injector to test against my what i suspect failed one. I`ve just ohm tested the injector and i`m assuming it needs not to be given a current or owt, or am i wrong? Because the ohm read 74 which if all being well on how i`ve tested it would indicate that it`s screwed as well..or am i wrong?
  14. looks like father timmins has been putting E in the holy water again! lol
  15. EDIT UPDATE managed to get into the car today and ohm tested the injectors again. I tested no.4 result 12.3 ohms same as when i tested them in the summer, so retested no.6 ohm..3.4 checked, rechecked and checked again same result. So one would assume this injector is foobarred, would explain the intermittance if the injector`s been breaking down.So when Stu`s injector turns up i`ll get it tested, whip the plenum off and hope for the best!
  16. I can see the rear fender! err that`s it though. Just hoping Stu`s injector makes it through the snow. Can`t work at mo due to the weather n getting bored.
  17. usually the maf getting a wee bit damp
  18. probably the 2nd one..gits
  19. WHaat! do they think you`re going to go suicidal at losing your job or something! Makes no sense.
  20. Nice..booze,snow n large dogs...a fun combination! I`m supposed to be taking my rele`s to luton airport errrr! As for the test..should havd read up 1st. Apparently a cold test..if i understand correctly + non throttle, can actually give you lower readings! I suppose from (despite the oil being thicker) everything`s contracted and not sealing as well as can when hot. Either way i`ll have to do it again...correctly and see what transpires. Just not today! lol. Can`t even see the car at the moment.
  21. well it`s minus something and snowing here! brrrrrrrrrr.
