No you were right, it is four. There are lots of places on the targa for water ingress. Rust under the end seals is causing issues due to the foam degrading. Nissan relied on foam to seal all the joints within the top. As per usual the replacement foam is silly money. I`ve used non setting buytl sikalastomer 710 instead on mine(very messy but may need to strip again so avoided silicone) and this would appear to be working. You have to seal All the joints, screw holes incl. the weather strip and replace the foam that seals the panel to the glass and reseal the rubber door strip holder (metal strip) that seals to the panel

Water sloshing sound - Plan of attack
And take your boot panels out to check the rear bumper sill. If water gets in via the lights can tend to collect down there as well as the spare tyre well.

Uk rears on the front
can`t see why not, they`re only a little wider aren`t they?

Large plastic panels from engine bay marked RH and LH with vents - where do they go?
had a feeling that`s what you meant, they just attach to the standard airbox so it pulls in air from a direction that`s cooler and less likely to suck water in, you can bin em.

Targa roof is leaking like a sieve
I`ve been taking some targas apart due to rust and leaks. Jeff sent me some replacement targas which, guess what..yep rusty. Thing is you can`t always see unless you know where to look. I`ve found several problems leading to water ingress. I`m afraid 20 odd years have taken their toll. All are rusting in the same places, just forward of either end cap. The metal piece at the end of the targa is attached to a rubber which attaches to the glass and the targa panel. This rubber is covered in foam, one assumes to help create a seal with the foam ends on the stainless strip which holds the rubber. The foam compresses to form the seal and has shrunk, the bond on the stainless strip can also start to perish along with the silicone sealant used by nissan. The only option is to completely strip, fix the rust if you can and rebond. Everything with with foam attached has rust to some degree. So I`d say if you`re still leaking this may well be your situation too, sorry to say.

No, squires are the cheaper versions of fender strats( subsidery if you like, usually made in china using cheaper parts, sometimes made in mexico and japan.). If it only says fender stratocaster and it`s a usa model.. quids in. they ain`t cheap.

Fuel leaking near tank/filler
looks familiar lol. Had this on my uk too, same mud trap. Worth checking the area above the neck in the arch as this traps it too, had to treat that area and i replaced my filler neck with 2nd hand one, painted with hammerite..all good 5yrs down the line. As stated pretty easy swap.
