  2. while your at it Stu, take off that horrible front bumper and throw it my way ;)
  3. The other thing I would do is junk the rear wiper - Im doing mine over next few nights, makes hell of a difference. Im just gonna bung some of that rain-x on the rear screen I cant see shit out of mine anyway coz of my spoiler!! :)
  4. In the downpour last night, the car is stuttering all over again, popped off the headlamp panel and sat in the splash tray is a pool of water which is obviously being sucked into the filter. If water is getting in here (its a 2 large vent front panel) is it likely I need new rubbers either side for the headlamp panel? I know the one that pushes up against the bonnet is split, but I dont know about the lower one? Does anyone have a set they want to get rid off? Thanks
  5. could any movement be down to knackered bearings?? When you say no movement I presume you mean left to right of the wheel while its up in the air? If it moves - mine does - im sure, (car is all over show on bumpy roads, back skips out everywhere), can I tighten up arm or anything or is it new parts? thanks
  6. John, how do you know if the arms are good? do you jack up rear of car and check for wheel play?
  7. Chris, I tried messaging ya but your mailbox is full. Message me back mate bout the wheels as Im interested too.
  8. I had same problem matey, replaced the afm, yours may not need replacing but mine was intermittant and doing it in the dry too. Have you got a splashguard fitted? If not try cleaning up the conns but if it does it when its been lashing down it'll more than likely be wet AFM. No splashguard.
  9. Gee, Thanks Paul - do you mean I have to actually use that search button?? :) I thought you would just type it all out again
  10. Does anybody know what gas goes in the zed? Is there any special fitments for filling it, my mates is empty and he was going to see if he can borrow some kit and do it himself. Are there any special fitments? Thanks

  13. no mate, not yet got Baggins to order us some though so just waiting for delivery. thanks
  14. you take off your hoses, and the y piece the afm plugs into and the passenger side has fine oil through it. The 2 passenger hoses (one to the plenum and the other large one) also have a fine mist of oil, wherease the drivers side are pretty much dry. Thanks
  15. I bought 2 Turbo XS Bovs off someone on this forum, and all seemed ok. Now zed is stalling when I slowed down, so under recommendation I refitted the original recircs and cured the problem :) However, I want them back on After opening them up they have a spring and 6 washers in each, but one is a lot stiffer than the other, and one spring is longer!! Does anyone either know where I can get replacement springs from OR shall I just put more washers in the loose one (shorter spring?) to try and get the same tension on both BOVs. Im just a little worried which one should feel right as I dont want to make them both stiff then the BOVS dont open. Thanks
  16. I remember reading somewhere the dry weight is 1600KG? Is that right? Whats the weight once petrol, water and oil are in? Is weight reduction in these really worth going for? Im thinking of junking all HICAS system, rear wiper motor and counter balance (already junked spare wheel). Just wondering coz I read the post about how heavy the drivers seat is. Im sure the group has gone down the weight reduction route before. . . . .. Oh yeah, If you were gonna race at the pod or dragstrip would you only half fill your petrol tank? Does anyone know what approx 27 Litres of petrol weighs in Kilos? Thanks
  17. ummm, arent you meant to oil the K&N's
  18. Is that the stuff you just bung in a full tank of petrol?
  19. They have different ratings too?? Some Baileys twin piston are rated at and some are above 12>psi Which one to go for as Std boost is 7-9 psi but boost controller pushes 15psi. Will it damage anything getting the >12 psi one when running std boost? as it will not open up all the way and vent and possibly bounce back into the turbo?
  20. check both ends of the bed - lift the pillow trhen check down headboard Also check foot end of bed (Look at blank wall and click very bottom corner ;)
