aha :) I have an old heatgun in the shed. Im presuming I dont wanna get too close to the window/rubbers with it though - if it strips paint from door I can only guess at what it would do to my window Cheers mate

Dont know who put the sodding tint on the rear windows but its not a very good job - hardly any tint and just 3 or 4 bands of thin film Took it to 3 windows tinters who have all had a go at removing and they've all said the same - need car for a day!!! Price goes through the roof. I dont know if tint was done in Japan, but its a complete bugger to get off. I spent about 25 mins picking off an inch worth. Anyone any better ideas - tried steaming with one of them guns, isopropyl alcohol, and white spirit. is it down to a scraper blade, and very carefully cut around the demists? Cheers

Anyone know where I can quickly source a rim for my Antera 309 (10Jx18). Its the chrome rims that are bonded on. Mines pretty well smashed up and I wanted to take it to JAPS show this Sunday. Elitedirect can order me one from Italy at a wait of 2 weeks :( Thanks

yeah - blew caps on my mobo too. Replaced them and mobo works fine now :)

asked several times before just wondering whether anyone has the answer now. I want to stop the interior lights dimming when I put my side/dipped lights on. I know you can adjust interior light brightness with that switch but I want the a/c display to stay at full display and not dim down. I done it with the clock - I cut a wire (cant remember which now) so when I put lights on clock stays bright but everything else dims. Cheers

Agreed - I replace more cheap psu's for customers than you wouldn't believe. However, I bought a case with a cheap psu, and all had been well for about a year - then the fooker exploded on me big style, nearly wet me pants as it was about 4 in the morning and the room was dark. Never thought it would happen to me, should've ripped out the psu when I bought the case and got a good make like Antec.

looks a bit loud to me at the moment, I sorta liked the grey but couldnt get a good match for the seats. Im thinking when I have seats done it'll all tie in. May remove that top cowling and change that to black. Other thing Im wondering whether looks right is the silver now . . . :( Too many colours?

Decided to remove the grey leather interior, as it was mismatched and had to be retrimmed againm so decided to go for a red leather instead. Pete@NipponAuto came back down and fitted it all - Gotta wait a month for the seats now though :( Seats are gonna be red leather, black bolsters and head rests, red stictching and the Z logo. Only thing Im not sure about is the dash dial top cover being red, may try a black one on that.

fook me - its been absolutely fine tonight. Quick changes up and down - no noises no crunch. I may check gearbox oil levels. Cheers

Noticed if Im driving car pretty hard then it takes a second or so before I can get into 2nd and 3rd gear (even then it can be longer) - sometimes it crunches even with clutch fully in. Heartstopping moment when I was overtaking a car, knew I had the power but when I was level I tried to get it into 3rd gear and couldnt get it in, couldnt get it into seconds either and another car was coming tomwards me. Crunched hard into 3rd and pulled in front. Sound like a synchro prob? Possibly low on gearbox fluid? Please tell me I dont need a new gearbox.
