Antera Question
Has anyone ever removed the chrome trim forom their 309's? As my chrome is knackered and shows this weekend I was gonna remove it but am scared with what I'll be left with on wheel? Wondering whether I'll be able to clean up the alloy itself or just leave chrome trim on and grin and bear it

Interior now looking better.
Removed all the silver sticky add-ons I had (apart from the stereo fascia) Changed wheel to a momo evo 320mm copy. Removing the silver made hell of a difference - looked good with grey - not with red. Just want my red seats now - Red Centre panels, black Bolsters, black Z Logo.

320mm steering wheel

320mm steering wheel
Anyone got one this size - I just got a momo millenium evo copy (saving now for the real one) Cant work out if it looks too small in a zed - but the feel from driving it is great It absolutely transforms driving the zed - turns it into a huge go-cart Well chuffed

silly clifford alarm question.
Cheers fella - the second keyfob I nicked from a jeep we sold with a clifford concept 300 on (same as mine) I programmed it all in - put new batteries and it worked at first but now that steadily died.

Scum bags eyeing up my car
disagree bud, I think that does more harm than good. When I was a wee nipper I used to admire cars with me mates, walk round, look in etc. sometimes blokes used to come out and tell us about them etc. one lad even let us in his ford RS200 (just to sit in) :) I always approach younger lads now in a friendly manner - keeps your car safer and they know you now/seen them. On the estate I live, nearly all the young lads wave as I pass - Good thing - it means hopefully they might respect me/mine. Personally I think giving bad banter can cause problems - you give someone with a chip on their shoulder more reason to steal/damage your car. Be nice first - IF they damage your car then be real nasty.

silly clifford alarm question.
Bloody remote fob arm/disarm doesnt work anymore - when alarm autoarms and goes off I cant disable it - cant enable it either - just have to wait for auto-arm. Pressing the * and lights button puts it in valet mode so I can get into car without it going off. Tried a 2nd Fob I found and it does the same!!! :( Do you think problem with the alarm or both keyfobs have a buggered arm/disarm button??? (Did notice it was getting harder to arm/disarm the bloody thing - pressing button harder and harder). Anyways, if I need a new keyfob anyone have one? Thanks

Just trying to remove rear window tint thats been half done. Need to spit & Polish car. What time do people get there? Shall I come and park at the 300zx stand ?

unorthodox STILL squeaking
Driving me mad, mr popular with neighbours at 6am driving through the estate. on of the belts for either the power steering or alternator is squealing like a bitch still. Takes about 5 mins of driving before it stops then when you put some power down it squeals again!!!! Tried WD40 and it doesnt work anymore (did at first) Belts are both tight prob too tight now in fact - Stopping by a garage to have it slackened off Someone said they used 3 ribs opposed to 4 for the power steering - I thought unorthodox was 4 ribbed. from what I remember the alternator is a proper gates belt but the power steering is a cheap jobbie. I think its the alternator belt thats squeaking though! Any ideas? Smithy (if you read this) - what are the 2 belts you sell with this mate? just to make sure I got right sizes etc
