Tomei pistons anyone?
When your talking about the tollerences involved in boring a block then the flex caused by torquing up your cylinder head is relevant, i know from the various types of machining work I used to do at work. Unfortunatly this means surface grinding a slab of steel flat and drilling/boring the neccesary holes in it to torque to your block and most engine shops couldnt be bothered with that because of the extra effort, hence they will tell you it does not matter. And it usually wont on an engine that produces 80hp and spends its life traveling to the shops. Remember that all engine builders are not the same, some build race engines and some re-condition diesels all day. Find a good one! Paul

Injector upgrades?
I would guess that rough idle would only be due to poor fueling from an off the shelf chip, maybee proper tuning would help

Consumer input please
I also think a good place to start is by thinking of what NOT to include. such as features on some brabus merc prototype that is 1000hp and costs £100000000... who cares? stick to real peoples cars. saxos Standard cars with a KENWOOD sticker unless its something special or rare. any phrases like "Bad boy", "Radical", "Pumpin tunes" etc etc millions of pages selling identicle wheels.

Consumer input please
I would personally would like to see more of a technical mag than the typical Max power sh1te. With articles from the top tuners on things like turbo comparisons with flow graphs etc and dyno testing, engine builds, head work, paint and bodywork etc etc. After all we all modify our cars by looking around at others and talking to each other to find out what works and what looks best. Im sure the relevant people would be only to pleased to supply info on the projects they are working on as it will bring them more buisness. Im afraid I cant get excited about some nancy boy who has splitfire plugs and a K&N in his Saxo :D Good idea Chris. Paul

Supplementary fuel injectors...
most put an extra injector in each rubber intake hose and it needs to be controled properly by something like a HKS additional injector controller. Not the best way as your plenum is designed to run dry and you can never achive exact fueling to each cylinder as the fuel has a lot further to travel to the back cylinders than the front ones. The controllers are not cheap so it would be just as economical to buy bigger injectors in the first place and you wont need the complex setting up of the aditional injectors too. Paul

New football shock!
Im gonna maintain a dignified silence :D On a serious note, the girls father says he is devistated at what happened to his little girl. Maybee he should be more concerned why his little girl was hanging around a well known celebrity knocking shop offering sex to famous footballers

300zx Service in North East
No one really I would use is the truthfull answer. I do all my own engine pulls, clutches etc but dont have the time or enjoy it enough to take on work for other people. Beware or some of the mickey mouse so called specialists suddenly setting up as Jap tuners, most of the work on these cars is out of their league they are best left to fitting large tailpipes to scoobys, also beware of another local place that started by fitting bleed valves to Renault 5 turbos and is now a self acclaimed specialist in Jap cars. Contact GPS from the trader section he is in Manchester though but its probably the closest and as our very own Duffer works for him you will be well looked after. Feel free to e mail me if you want any advice. Maybee a (proper)Northern Z meet is on the cards :D Paul
