(that's the first problem :mad: ) also try the PTU connection. its a smallish silver box at the front of the engine bay, tilted at a 45 degree angle. there'll be a connection coming off to the right of it. i recently had a bad misfiring problem and it turned out this connection was loose. sorry didnt read if yours is a TT or not - if so are you running in safety boost (ie. boost gauge only goes about half way)?

A twin-calibra-turbo-engined Nova and it came third! That Astra was a little slow tho on the drag strip (4 seconds slower than the next slowest car :rofl: ) :rofl: :rofl:

Bought this for a) a train journey, and b) its got 3 ZXs doing donuts, slides, and general tyre-shredding stuff. I dont know if these were the same guys as were on Top Gear a few months ago but crikey they dont half burn some eraser :smw:

I'm surprised the damn thing moved at all - it was firing at a rate of three pops per second - followed by a loud BANG! :rofl: :slap: Certainly turned a few heads but for the wrong reasons :( Once again thanks to Jeff for an instant over-the-phone solution :bow:

Just when I thought id sorted the problem out another one starts! Driving along quite happily earlier on when it starts missing one or two cylinders. It's been doing it ever since - really lumpy at low revs, struggling up the scale, and then almost normal over say 4000. The cars been burning rich recently on and off cos of my BOVs - would this cause a couple of the plugs to gradually carbon up?

hi mate. glad you got it installed ok! is it any good then? where have you sited it on the dash? like i said in my other post, because im getting a lot of electronics installed (coffee machine... disco lights... rotating number-plate... :p ) which all (i think) hook up to the ecu, i think its best if i left it all to the pro's. thanks for your advice tho - i nearly gave it a go!
