Wow what a great day it was yesterday (weather let us down in the first half of the day but I even ended up with some sunburn later on - lol). Ive got plenty of short clips which are in 3GP and MP4 format so Ill try and get those up later on. Many many thanks to everyone who turned up and especially to those who spend so much £££ on taking passengers around the track for charity.  Even the 300zx.co.uk marquee was there! Also great to meet everyone finally! ...and yes Rich you scared the shoite out of me as well - nearly overtaking that Dodge Viper
  3.   classic! best thread yet! i miss these.
  4.  OMG whoever they were i hope theyre ok

okay folks last check before tomorrow - everyone got their passes ok (i hope). those with exhibitors passes need to attend the briefing at 9am before being able to take off around the track. let's hope the weather improves (forecast for tomorrow is better than today [not difficult] ) see you there :hyper:
  9. just waiting for a call from them now. will post up on the other thread how i get on. they've got a 4-figure sum to beat!
  10. black alloys. deffo photoshop some decals on first before fitting. even try blu-tacking them on for a while to see if you like them before you commit.
  11. depends on how well your Z is wired up anyway. probably about 5.
  12. yeah yeah any excuse ;)
  13. looks great mate. where did you get the kit from or did you cut it yourself?
  14. looks great mate. how about a) black/dark grey meshing behind the bumper instead of orange, b) new phat alloys ;)
  15. i recommend them too: a) bling, b) cheap, c) better grounding (obv.) d) an extra 120bhp ;)
  16. hi Pete. The autobox is looking to be by far the least reliable part of the Z. I had the same problem last year and ended up spending £1500 on a conversion as Gaz did. Clean and unburnt-smelling fluid is a positive tho - just be ready for some bad news :(
  17. OMFG!!!! What sort of power would that barsteward flow?!??!
  18. glad you posted this mate as Ive got a F&F oil press gauge to fit. the instructions are hopeless as 5 out of the 8 steps are all about locating the unit in the dash, switching off the ignition and disconnecting the battery. step 8 is about reconnecting the battery. so basically you got step 6 and 7 to tell you how to plumb the damn thing in :slap: does anyone know out of the green and the red wire from the gauge, which gets crimped onto which terminal? also does the sender unit in Steve's picture require the elbow fitted or not?
  19. congratulations Rich. almost half way to Craig's total
  20. started off kind of funny then went way waaayyy over my head
  21. i hate skylines (not)
  22. boost gauge just Tees off from under the bonnet - the thin black piping at the back - driver's side. that pipe i believe goes into the stock gauge. not sure about oil - i got an oil and water temp gauge to go in and im hovering around for some advice!
  23. agree, probably best to keep away. youre better off spending your modding money elsewhere
