  1. hmm this chap's been on ebay before. i hope the buyer hasnt fallen for his 'Nismo' in the description. this time around he's put a 'disclaimer' at the bottom saying theyre not real Nismo wheels - its just there to get more search hits. then again i cant see how theyre 'very very rare'
  2. i agree - the blue one's too thin at the bottom. wonder if the white one is a different style of W.W. then. either way its my fave :hyper: just hope the bl00dy thing fits!
  3. lol thats brill! i start off well, then as i start to draw the circle of the 6 my leg goes straight! will have to get the missus to give it a go ;)
  4. i think if everyone votes on it now it'll be auto 20%, manual 20%, convertees 60%! damn autoboxes dropping like flies.
  5. lol Mark you dickhead! :smash: ;)
  6. aw there there... sorry dude my phone was flup of vids by the end of the day. i think you can see yours in the 300ZX marquee 'walk-by' clip
  7. hmm this one seems to be slightly different - perhaps i was wrong saying it was a W.W. any ideas which style it is then? (minus the splitters of course :xxx: )
  8. thanks for that Sarge. I visited a couple of bodyshops yesterday - both of them were umming and ahhing about trying to match the pearlescent paint. one of them (R.E.O) said bring it back on a bright day (it started peeing it down as I was driving around yesterday :( ) so he can look at it better. the other guys took a look at the new bumper and said a bit of work would have to be done on that (bit of rubbing down and little bit of filling). they both offered to blend the (possibly unmatched) bumper colour in across the wings.i might even save up for a respray in arctic white but that'll take ages. grr after i finally got the bumper i wanted thats just the start of the task. all good fun.
  9. No, NO NO NO NO NO. NO. NO NO NO NO NO.
  10. lol, its an Evo-5 300ZX front bumper!

  18. nah i thought Juiced was supposed to be a cheapo version of NFSU - never played it yet tho. i could swear the GT4 game case is lined with cocaine to keep you addicted to it...
  19. where's Bandit??? anyone seen him? EDIT: 3 posts come out of nowhere, joke gone.
  20. worth checking the intake (hope im not teaching you to suck eggs but pop bonnet, undo two bolts above nose panel and lift panel off) to see how old it is - a worthwhile replacement if its manky. like Fraser said, check the ecu (quite easy to get to) for any stickers or writing that may give away who installed it / what make it is. basic 'safe' ecu's (like JWT - a great starter) or a mapped one (like John Dixon - on this forum) are inexpensive - although the chip needs to be socketed onto the ecu board (after stock one is desoldered)
  21. hmm really depends on what else has been installed in the car. assuming a standard setup, bar aftermarket intake, exhaust and a decent chip (and your EVC), probably about 340bhp at the fly at 14psi. open to correction of course ;)
  22. Well after knackering it on my first day of ownership (pulled into driveway head-first, didn't do it again - cheers pavement) my bumper's been a real eye-sore - one crack at either side. been looking for a reasonably-priced aftermarket bumper (pref. in pearly white but was a long shot) for ages. nearly got James300's Stillen but someone beat me to it at the last minute. then out of nowhere this brand new Wings West (my favourite style) in ready-to-paint white spouts up for £240! SOLD! it arrived a couple of days ago and looks wicked! not had a chance to unwrap it all yet (and check its condition), but its amazing how large the bumper looks when its off the car and sitting in the garage. been fondling the nearside intercooler and fog slots ( :xxx: ). will try a place Ya5 recommended after having some ('some' :D ) work done on his. also got a Bomex nose panel to be painted and fitted. cant wait to finally get my bumper sorted and give the car a more aggressive look. any suggestions as to how much fitting and painting bumper and nose panel would be?

ok mate, cheers for that
  24. welcome to the club mate. 1) EVC is an excellent controller, although i dont own one to say so. what number is it? EVC-5 is the latest model - it has a screen in the centre. the older EVCs are just a line of knobs [sounds like our commitee  only joking guys ;) ]. Z doesnt have to be chipped, but its always wise to run an aftermarket or remapped chip when upping boost pressure as t'will start to run lean (very very bad). does the EVC display what boost youre running? im guessing youve got an older model tho. 2) on stock tubbies in good condition - 14.5psi is generally agreed to be 'safe' max, although some are running up to 16 with no probs  . your stock gauge (IIRC reads -7 to +7) will go off the gauge at 14.5psi - an aftermarket gauge is a MUST (unless your controller is displaying boost) and preferably in PSI. most aftermarket gauges are in psi. sorry cant help on 3 or 4
